Played here in a tournament recently. From the moment I arrived, everything was top-notch—the staff were welcoming, the course was in pristine condition, and the atmosphere was relaxed yet professional. Every hole was thoughtfully designed, offering a perfect balance of challenge and playability. The greens were fast and true, fairways were perfectly manicured, and the entire layout made for a truly enjoyable round. This course is a standout. Whether you’re local or visiting, don’t miss the chance to play here. I’ll absolutely be back soon! Such a pretty course, oh and the superintendent was…

One of my favorite golf courses to play on NC. Great staff, well maintained course. I love playing here with my business partners and future customers.

I love the course. The only negative is they tend to keep the greens too wet. Approach shots plug and the mowers create mud craters around the greens.

Today was a bad day for me score wise, but that won't impact my honest review. I shot 94 from the tips very bad driving day. As always I will break down the different aspects of the course. Practice facilities 4/5 -The only thing missing was a bunker to hit out of. There is a range with great grass, and a sizable putting green. Tee boxes 4/5 - There weren't many that were in rough shape, two holes had the tips away from the others tucked away that made it difficult to know where to go initially Fairways 4/5 - While I wasn't in the fairways often today, when I was I had no complaints. There…

I’ve been playing at Goldsboro Golf Course on and off for years, but lately I’ve been out there multiple times a week. It’s a solid local course with a fun layout — Hole 13 is my personal favorite, with an uphill approach that keeps you honest. Fairways are wide enough to be forgiving, and you’ll even get the occasional visit from the curious fox squirrels (watch your snacks — they’ll climb right into your cart if you’re not careful). The course definitely has its quirks. Greens can be hit or miss depending on the time of year, and some of the bunkers are packed a little firm, but it’s nothin…

I recently tried this course on a random day off as a solo since this course is close to home and I've always wanted to check it out. The words "Public" or "Municipal" being in a course's name tends to turn people away, but I am very glad I gave this course a shot! I have played this course 3 times now, plan on playing this weekend, and have officially added it to my course rotation with my playing partner. The green fees are well worth the course conditions as they stand currently; Fairways with good grass, a noticeable difference from the rough, and greens that are (mostly) green and lush ot…

Really nice pro shop staff. fairways are in solid condition. Tee boxes are decent. Challenging for most golfers. Main complaint would be green conditions. I’m no green keeper by any means, and I see they put A LOT of effort into fixing the green conditions. But it can be difficult putting on some of the greens due to dead spots. All around solid course for the price.

The folks are great and the price is very reasonable. The carts are in good shape and run well. Unfortunately the course seems to be suffering from a severe lack of water. The greens were in really rough shape. The fairways weren't bad and the sand traps were actually pretty good. But the greens and the tee boxes we're pretty rough. Front nine worse than the back. I believe this is because of a water issue not because of a problem with a desire for maintenance. A good place to tune up your game, but you have to forgive the putting surface.

Absolutely horrific time at the Course played one hole got poured on with rain was told they were no rain checks after three. No rain check no refund paid $48 to play and got absolutely nothing out of it. The worst Golf customer experience I’ve ever had in my life, the pro should be ashamed of himself, and should not be running a golf course, cannot imagine anyone ever choosing to play out here knowing the staff does not care at all about your experience. The course is also in absolutely horrific shape. It should be closed and the staff fired. Horrific excuse for a golf course.

This is the Goldsboro Golf Course. Thus us my first time coming here. I came to the driving range with my husband today. The weather was nice but it was windy. Come here to see how you like the golf course. I don't know much about golfing at all. The people were friendly today but it's my first visit.

Started pouring down rain on the first hole and staff/head pro refused to give us a rain check or even partial refund, despite having no signs posted or notices given to us saying otherwise. Rudest staff of any business in Goldsboro. The course was in horrible shape. Might as well play in some field on the side of the road.

Really nice course, the surrounding area is undesirable however the course is safe and the staff are friendly and rates are great! Don’t miss out, this is my go to spot when I don’t feel like going to another place.
