Absolutely beautiful golf course. When we were on our way to the first hole we drove by a couple of fawns with spots still on them eating persimmons. What a great way to start your game. The course is in great shape. We had a great time playing this wonderful course. Well worth the visit. We will be back for more!

Well kept. It was very wet today and the greens were still quick and rolled true. The fairways were kinda thick, but most likely because it's been wet the past 4 days and they probably haven't been able to mow it. The front 9 is pretty open and long. The back is more narrow and tougher. Fun course all around and a great deal for under $50 during the week.

I’m astounded by the multiple reviews saying the staff is rude. Nothing could be further from the truth. I’ve played this course many many times through the years and I’ve never had a bad experience at Fields Ferry, period. The staff is VERY friendly and VERY professional. In addition, the course is outstanding and the best bang for the buck of any course I’ve ever played. Tee boxes, check! Fairways, check! Greens, lighting fast and check! Scenic views, unbeatable! I drive a hour and pass many other golf courses to get to this one because of the value and will continue to do so. Thank you to t…

Very nice course and well maintained. This course is wide with few trees and few woods to lose ball in so play proceeds from where the ball lands. Highly recommend this and the price is very reasonable. I will come back again!

Great course layout and the course was in overall good condition, and you can't beat the value. I'm not sure about the negative reviews on the staff. Everyone I encountered was super friendly. The course is deceptively challenging with a good mix of holes. If I had one issue preventing a fifth star it would be the course maintenance could be improved around the lakes and streams which looks very shaggy, and some of the bunkers had thin sand.

.... After a 15 year layoff from golf, I recently started playing again around 3 months ago. During my frequent years (2002-2009) of playing, Fields Ferry was a course I would play a few times a year. I always found it to be a very fair layout (give and take) course. It does have its fairly easy holes but some are obviously more demanding than others. During those years I never really thought the course was kept up like it should be. Not bad or terrible but just not manicured like it should or could be. However, after my recent visit (even though it was a very cold, windy and overcast day in l…

Soft in the middle, rough around the edges. Literally. Course from tee to green and inside second cut of rough is terrific, virtually pristine. Get outside those (which we all strive not to) and it can be rough… dirt, rocks, hard pan, washed out tree roots. No matter, we’re not supposed to be THERE! Layout is great, some really fun holes (16-18 a great closing stretch). I first played this course in 1991… it’s long been one of my favorites. Just played it again for first time in 15 years. Was nice to get on it again. Great value.

Golf shop employees are welcoming, professional, and knowledgeable. I'd like to change the design of # 8, hahaha, but the course is in great shape! Absolutely a good experience every time I play Fields Ferry.
