In summary

Cartersville Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained golf course, challenging layout, and excellent amenities, including a pro shop, dining options, and recreational facilities like tennis courts and a swimming pool. The staff is frequently described as friendly and professional, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, one review highlighted concerns about inappropriate staff behavior during a charity event, which contrasts with the generally positive experiences reported by other visitors.

Appalling Experience at Charity Golf Tournament I recently attended a charity golf tournament and left deeply disturbed by what I witnessed. Several staff members appeared to have visible vulgar tattoos; something that is completely unacceptable at a venue hosting a charitable community event. It was shocking that this seemed the normal for the staff. To make matters worse, some staff members were openly propositioning golfers and guests for certain paid services on the grounds that were inappropriate. This is wildly unprofessional. The fact that it was happening in plain sight at a charity…

It's a phenomenal track. The course was in great shape even with the extreme heat of the summer. The fairways were lush, and the rough was penal. There was great thought put into the layout as the various holes require you to use all clubs in your bag. There are plenty of water stations to stay hydrated.

Played in a tournament and let's just say it was beyond cold. The course was in great shape for the time of year, but all in all it was a great day.

Played in a charity golf tournament yesterday. Course was in very good shape. Greens had been aerated but were in very good shape. Putted Very nice and smooth. Rest of the course was in good shape. They were doing some reconstruction on atee box and a couple of sand traps. Otherwise the course was in very good shape.

The Club is the place to be in Cartersville! Friendly faces, fantastic food, and fun all year round with 18 challenging holes of golf and multiple tennis courts. The swimming pool with a diving board and playground are great for adults and kids alike and kids have a Nerf gun arena to enjoy too!

I am not a golf member but I am a member of the club. I recently played this course and enjoyed it . The service was good, an attendant met me at my car and loaded my clubs onto a cart. The pro shop counter person was friendly and informative. The course is in good shape, fairways, greens nicely maintained. Not a long course, greens are a little quicker than I am accustomed to. Good idea to have your ball below the hole and not on the short side of the green. Nothing sinister or tricky about the layout. If you prefer to walk, that is pretty feasible. Pinecrest and azealas, very picturesque during…

This is what I would refer to as a classic parkland course - open fairways with moderately dense tree lines separating one hole for the adjacent one. Aesthetically, this is not to everyone's taste but it normally makes for a more forgiving layout for those a little wayward off the tee. The standout at CCC is definitely the condition of the course. It is definitely the finest I've witnessed all summer. This is a Private club so not necessarily an easy tee time to get, but well worth a go if you are lucky enough to get an invite.
