Green Valley Greens Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly and laid-back atmosphere, making it a popular choice for beginners and those seeking a relaxed golfing experience. The course is noted for its affordability and convenient location, with friendly staff often highlighted as a positive aspect. One of my favorite courses to play. Can get busy on weekends from 10-12, if you’re an “on the go” golfer this course is for you - no tee times, first come, first serve until all carts go out. Parking lot was recently paved, keep in mind this isn’t an 5-star course because of the greens or prestige status of the layout - rather the friendly atmosphere, great price, and convenience. Owners will remember your face and treat ya with respect every time. Can’t say enough about the love I have for this course!

I have done ratings on other courses and I would love to give this place a 5 star rating but it’s not a 5 star course nor is it meant to be, however due to the ratings system I have to give it a 5 star based on several reasons: 1: location, it’s easily accessible to anywhere around Cartersville. 2: atmosphere, if you are new to golf or cannot stand the stuffiness of “normal” courses then this is your place, it’s laid back, no frills, inexpensive comparatively 3: staff, they are all relaxed and friendly and keep it laid back 4: ease of use, they have carts and it’s rarely busy during the week.…

Nicest front desk lady…just kidding, extremely rude and dry. Save your money and time to go somewhere else that has 18 holes instead of paying $40 to play the same 9 holes twice.

the lady at the front is so extremely rude and and hateful for absolutely no reason!! i came in at 9am on a saturday and they were busy of course and we were willing to wait and she told me that she wouldn’t take my money and there was a waiting list… then proceeded to not take my name or number and just walked away from me. course is fine for the money but i would just pay a little more and go somewhere else that’s nicer and has a tenth more customer service and friendliness than that beast of a woman did.

First off, this isn't Augusta but it is a good course for a relaxed pace of play for the beginner. There are some issues on parts of the course like some greens and tee boxes. We were in town and my son and I golfed there twice. It isn't a challenging course with a lot of hazards which is exactly what my beginner 17 year old needed. A lot of straight holes and only a couple of holes where a hazard came into off the tee. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They take cash only so be prepared. If I'm in the area again, I'll surely stop by for a round or two. As long as you are unders…

Played 27 holes last Friday. Great price and very friendly staff. Laid back atmosphere perfect for practice and beginner golfers. I had a blast. Relaxed pace of game new carts. Headed back this Tuesday as I live close by. Excited this place is still around. Last time I was here was 1990. Ugh. Enjoying my refound practice course

Simple 9 hole course, great for practice, usually have access to carts.. however if it's too wet it's almost as easy to walk.. still a very fun course just to go hit 9 and get away from women and/or children for a couple hours.

They will turn the sprinklers on while you're putting he says he hast to water the greens every two hours, the hole was full of water and the putting green was so wet that it was like a sponge and made it where you couldn't put

I really like this golf course. My buddy and I go golfing here every Friday and we never have a problem. The people who own it/ work there seem very nice, and you can tell they do their best to take care of this place. This course does have its imperfections, the greens need to be taken care of better and the whole golf course kind of needs a refresher but it’s a great course for people just trying to get practice in and have some fun. The prices are very reasonable and the golf carts are very clean/maintained. If you’re in the Cartersville area or anywhere close, I recommend stopping in and s…

I gave it 4 stars because the cart path has a lot of potholes, that’s the only thing that needs to be fixed, besides that the folks who work here are so nice, I was in there the other day and they remembered my face, I haven’t been there in so long and it was nice to see the workers here, definitely touches my heart how they remembered my face after taking a break from golf, I hope they fix the cart paths, and I recommend this place for sure, all the other golfers were very nice, and it was only $25 for me to play a round of 9 holes, the $5.00 was for the rider, $35 for 18 holes, including the…

Played here (9 holes) first time today with a friend who was visiting from out of town. Course was generally in good shape and enjoyable to play. It was good weather and the course had a pretty good crowd but we got right on and were never pressed. You can’t beat the price — $20 apiece to share a cart. Other reviews indicated they had no concessions at all, but they have some soft drinks, candy and chips available for sale at the counter. I will play here again.
