In summary

Flushing Valley Country Club is appreciated for its scenic layout and friendly staff, with a clubhouse and amenities that many find appealing. However, there are significant concerns about the course's condition, with reports of poorly maintained greens and fairways, leading some to feel the pricing is not justified. Additionally, issues with service and management have been noted, impacting the overall experience for some visitors.

I really enjoyed this course, it has an enjoyable layout using the river in some fun ways. Very clean and beautiful clubhouse with a friendly staff. It's a course that I certainly want to return to, but that doesn't mean that it doesn't have issues. Lots of bugs, likely due to its proximity to the river. The course is beautiful from an overall standpoint. A round during prime time will run you roughly $50 bucks. Absolutely more than reasonable, but for the shape of the course. I don't know. It definitely needs some work. It's a catch 22. If they lower cost to receive more traffic, the course g…

2 stars for wayyyyy over priced for the condition. 65 bucks on a weekend for an at best 25 dollar course. bunkers are mud, fairways are clover or bare dirt. greens havev brown dead spots and damage from poor mowing. pins were cut terribly. just all around poor. charging more than Atlas Valley, Captains Club, hell even the Preserve. see photos as many greens and fairways looked and played awful. I will not return until improvements are made or the price changes.

Course was in decent condition for being late in the season. Nice layout and very playable for all levels with open room for those errant shots. Bumpy cart paths but carts are in good condition. Nice facilities for members with a nice bar area and pro shop.

I arrived and greeted at the bag drop off. I was early so I took a quick tour. Beautiful all around, fabulous bar and huge banquet facility for 2-300 plus. Played 18 holes, every hole is a challenge full of trees, river running through. Afterwards had lunch, great menu and prices so reasonable to prior covid days. Best of all, delicious. I just wish it was closer but I'll drive 90 minutes again and again.

I've golfed here a few times before in previous years. Course was in good condition then... Played again last weekend, Whoa... We got a warning the course had issues, but it was worse than expected when we got out there. Staff was great, but they really need some immediate attention on the playing surfaces. Greens were torched, tons of dead spots everywhere, the tee boxes were in terrible shape. Not a great look. I won't head back until I see updates that the course has been reconditioned.

Lots of fun. Best public course in the area. Great food. Live entertainment most nights. Affordable. Come join the fun.

So disappointing. I haven't played this course in probably 15 years. It used to be fine; a middle-of-the road course in Genessee county. I played it a few weeks ago and was absolutely mind blown at how poor of shape it has fallen into. Ruts in the rough and fairways, the greens had dead and bald patches with some even having chunks of sod laid down like a quilt, with uneven heights and gaps between the patches. Nothing was in good shape. I understand if a course is going through a change of ownership or some weather damage or remodeling and things are in rough shape, but to charge $65 for 18 w…

Poor service!! Paid online for 18 played they told us to play back 9 first. So ee were expecting to Play the front 9, but we were told to play the back 9 again. We didn't want to play the back 9 again, so we ask for a refund. They would not give us a refund and said we only paid for 9. Need less to say we'll never go back there. It was the manager/owner that was so rude. His help was trying to say we paid for 18 but we just left.

Verry disappointed with this course. In horrible condition, tee box look better than the greens and the fairways. come out on a Wednesday and put us behind a 6 some and a 4 and 2 some and we asked twice to go off the back but the two some who are members call after the first hole and they let them go off the back verry disappointing. What has happened here used to be a verry nice course

Greens were in really bad conditions, mostly sand was spread on Greens. Won't be returning with our league, until some serious improvements are addressed. The audacity to charge $35 for 18 holes
