In summary

Forest Lakes Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, excellent greens, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers of all levels. The course layout, set within a neighborhood, is appreciated for its winding design and good pace of play. However, some visitors have experienced issues with customer service and noted occasional slow play, particularly on weekends.

It's a good little 9 hole golf course. The times I've played it it has been well maintained. The ball machine at the driving range is a bit on the quirky side, screen says press start but there is no start, you have to push the yellow button on the bottom left corner. The course itself is a nice winding course that goes through a neighborhood, which can lead to some sweating if you slice badly. The golf carts are newer and have built in range finder and Bluetooth capabilities and radios, sounds not great but it is sound. Price isn't too bad, 37$ for 18 with the cart and the staff has always be…

Decent course, well kept. Customer service for me was not good. I showed up Sunday morning, first golfer there. I told the pro shop attendant that I wasn't from the area and it was my first time playing there. Her affect was a little flat and sullen, but I figured she was maybe hungover or something, shouldn't make a difference in my day. She asked if I wanted to play 9 or 18 so I told her 18, only to realize at the end of 9 that the course went no further. Went back in and she would barely speak to me. Asked for a refund on 9 or some range balls or something and she wordlessly handed me a cou…

Very nice course with good people in the pro shop. It ends there as we went there and experienced ground staff edging bunkers while we tried to keep playing. This course gets a lot of traffic and there is no spacing of players or teams off the 1st tee. I felt like a human golf ball target here.

Possibly the best nine hole course I’ve ever played. Fairways in excellent condition and very uniform. Greens are slow but very consistent . Good course layout and good pace of play. Friendly staff and courteous players on the course. Great price!

The manager of this place is beyond rude. I called prior to coming in to see what time they stopped giving out golf carts and was advised that there would be no more carts given out after four. Proceed to drive there from over an hour away. And when I got there a few minutes before 4 o’clock, the manager was nowhere to be found at the desk, and by the time he actually got there it was 4 oclock on the dot. He proceeded to tell me I would not get a cart because it was 4 o’clock Then walked away and back out of the clubhouse without saying another word. If I could give this place a negative Five…

Nice course unkind experience. 3 golfers First time ever at the course and 1 golfer with absolutely No experience until today. Started at 315 ended at 520 so just over 2 hrs. Let a few different carts play thru caught up a few times waited nicely and was very rudely told by staff we were holding everyone up. Website forgot to mention only professional speed golfers. Great first experience at the course and for a new golfer. Not so much

A great little 9 hole course. Discounts for Seniors/Military/Vets. Reasonable pricing and they have a driving range. No reservations, first come/first served. Golf carts are available Parking is muddy since there is construction on new buildings.

Great course for any level of Golfer. Course is owned and maintained by faculty, students and staff at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. They keep the course in prime condition year round. Has a driving range and practice green. Can't beat the price. No tee times - just show up and play 9 or 18.

What a surprise to see the new buildings and the old one gone. Looks really nice. Unfortunately the course was closed due to weather. The sign on the door said they were opening at 10. Person inside wouldn't come to the door st 945. When I called after lunch the phone went to voice mail. I was in town for the weekend and was looking forward to my visit. Maybe next time it'll be more normal weather.
