In summary

Forsyth Golf Club is frequently praised for its affordability, friendly staff, and well-maintained greens, offering a pleasant experience for both seasoned golfers and newcomers. The course layout, characterized by its short length and open fairways, provides a fun and strategic challenge. However, some visitors have noted issues with fairway conditions, inconsistent green speeds, and occasional negative interactions with staff.

The fairways hasn’t recovered from winter the greens are in fairly good shape. Best part of it is the price! It’s a short course even from the tips but some holes a pretty challenging.

Enjoyed the course. Price was amazing. Right off the highway. A net would be amazing here with that valley.

This is an old-timey municipal parkland course. Very short @ around 6K from the tips. Very inexpensive at about $21 on a Monday including gas cart. Some very interesting holes. Few bunkers. Good challenge despite the short length. It gets 2 stars as it relates to a "premium" course, but as inexpensive courses go, it is at least three stars. $10 for a six-pack of domestic beer was a nice surprise. Fairways green from the abundant recent rain with mixed grasses and weeds. Rough quite deep the day I played due to broken mower. Greens quite small especially on front 9 and on 18 which were the orig…

Good little track. It's a Muni course but a lot of fun. Fairways are ok and tee boxes need work but the greens are Excellent. Old school figure 8 layout so get everything you need before you tee off because it doesn't swing back to the clubhouse until 18. Driving range mats are improved since last time...not great but adequate. Great course for the price. Quick play and very good carts.

My friend was beaten up by 3 thugs with golf clubs at this course, the knuckleheads who run this place banned my friend for getting beat up. Don’t give them your business, terrible course!

Be wary of this course, they condone players assaulting people and then ban victims. Do not give your money to an organization with such low standards and care for patrons.

Can't even have the courtesy to let a threesome go ahead and finish the 18th hole at 7pm. Yes we understand carts are in but we are literally next to the club house on a par three teeing off. Better places to play in middle Georgia

Found this course on my way back to Atlanta, decided to get off the interstate and play 9 holes somewhere since I had my clubs with me. Figured for $20 why not give it a shot? When I got there the gentleman at the desk was very nice, he showed me where to go for 9 holes since I wasnt doing the full course. This was a Monday afternoon and i practically had the place to myself, so I absolutely loved the pace of play. The course itself is pretty much straight and not very long, definitely an easier type course but I wanted something simple and fun. Some of the tee boxes were too hard to get a t…

Very rude. Bryan seems to hate working there and should probably just quit and let someone else take his position. Never had a good experience with the employees and have been there multiple times. Don’t expect any positive attitudes when showing up. Oh and don’t forget your range finder. They will take it and say they don’t know what happened and offer no help or explanation. Even after claiming to have put my name on it 2 weeks later it was gone… some sticky fingers up there I guess.

Forsyth Golf Club is a good and cheaper but well-maintained, golf course. The fairways and greens (different grass on front 9 and back 9 so ball rolls different depending on your location) are in great shape, bunkers are in mediocre to fair shape. The course plays very open there aren't any skinny fairways. We played a tournament tee off at 9am a few days after a big rainstorm and some areas do not drain very well, so a few holes (maybe 3) had a lot of "cart path only" due to the sogginess The tournament officials had everyone play from the red tees (wow) this was fun though as it made everyo…
