I've been to many courses around the state and this one has got to have the worst greenskeeper there is. Holes all over the fairways, tee boxes and even greens. The management here is terrible. This being my home course i keep seeing it declining more and more every time I go. Absolutely no invetory on balls, gloves, tees, clubs, shoes, ect.... The carts on the other hand are absolutely horrendous!!

Course has a nice layout and has some very nice wooded/lake scenery, but it needs some attention. Greens are bit rough looking on some holes, some tree trimming is needed in some areas, weeds need killing, bare spots needs sodding, etc. Could be a great course with just a good bit of attention. Otherwise, the greens fees are too much for the shape it is currently in. I'd rather spend that greens fee at Roman Nose or Boiling Springs. The lady working the pro shop was very nice and personable, though.

It used to be one of the best courses around. Went last Sunday and it cost $94 and some change for two. The whole course looked like they were working on the entire 18. They've been working on this course for over 2 years now and it's like day one. I would pay that kind of money for a good finished product. At this point, I won't go back. I've been golfing there for years. I'm done.

Great course. Fairways and green could use some work but the layout is good and challenging.

GOLFERS BEWARE. Came here a month ago. The women then told us we pay a green fee and can use the cart all day. Played 72 holes that day. This morning another women said we pay the green fee to play all day, but this time we have to pay for the cart when we want to play again. Okay, fine. Understandable that's how other courses are. Then this afternoon a different lady told use we had to pay for all of it again.

Play this course every year and it just get worse and worse. Its a good lay out but it has all the signs of very poor management. Theydont even do the basic things like hose the mud ok the carts, service the ball washers, move the tee markers. Things with very little cost. No pride in ownership type stuff. The greens get smaller every year as portions of them die and are not replaced. It's a shame. Could be nice track if management gave two flips about taking care of it

At one time the golf course at Ft. Cobb was one of my favorites. I haven't played there in several months until this week. I was very disappointed in how poor a shape the course was in. I thought with the mild summer and plentiful rain it would be in good condition. There were several bare spots and weedy areas in the fairways. The greens had many bare spots. Some of the Tee boxes were ok, but many had grass so tall that any shot had to be played from a tee. I know our Lieutenant Governor has talked about allocating some funds to help out the state parks; sure hope he does so. I gave the cours…

Beautifully designed course. However, unless you like getting soaked by sprinklers on multiple holes and having to tee off at the ladies tees because of it, I would not recommend this. There were also several holes that were under construction.

Good layout by the lake. Front 9 is pretty wide open while the back 9 has a few narrow fairways near the water. All greens were recently aerated and some we're all sand, assumed a 2-putt for those. The pro shop staff was very friendly and she gets 5 stars.

The course has a very good layout unfortunately the upkeep is lacking tremendously many of the fairways were not cut and hadn't been cut in a while and the greens ran very very slow. it was very hard to force yourself to hit the ball hard enough on the green to get into the hole
