In summary

Fort Sill Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens and fairways, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, especially for military personnel. The course layout is appreciated for its balance of challenge and accessibility, making it suitable for a range of skill levels. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play, particularly due to grouping decisions, and the need for updates to cart paths and equipment.

Having spent almost 20 years of my life on and around a golf course. This one is far from a 5 star, and I'm stretching the 4 stars here. Considering the condition of the course...it is Oklahoma 🤔 They could make a few small changes here, and this place would be a 3.5 to 4 really. The limited inventory, cart paths that have needed help for probably 10 years, etc. However, it's less than two miles from our home, and we have a great time here.

The course was is great shape since all the rain that came threw this last week. I love playing here and with the sound of thunder in the background 😉😉makes it even better. This has to be the best active military course around.

July 4 - Easy to get the visitor pass. Pro shop and restaurant are well run. Practice area is nice. Course was overall in very nice shape. The only down side was 4 walkers were allowed to jump in on 10 as we finished up 9 and backed everyone up. The group was apparently trying to qualify for a tour card or betting big because they were lining up putts for days and having high level discussions on each tee box.

Fast greens plenty of bends, very well kept. Only issue is I got pared with 4 others. 3 adults and 1 youth which I have no problem with but slowed pace of play way down. Carts seem to be really old some brakes don’t work as they should. Definitely be mindful of some holes for there are high traffic roads and housing by some holes.

Easy course but well maintained. Not crowded, some water on the course, but good for beginner golfers. They did have coolers of water on a couple of holes, no complaints.

Good course layout. Front 9 is pretty flat, no water, some bunkers. Greens were in great shape. The teeboxes and fairways were coming in good for early spring. If you are a civilian you need a pass from the visitors center on Sheridan.

Decent Golf Course, but if you’re a soldier that has a last-minute late call trying to play a quick 9 before work; good luck. The same group of retirees and GS Civ’s consistently book every morning out weeks in advance. Don’t even try to get a time here in the morning.

I played for the first time there, today. The Pro Shop staff was very friendly and helpful. The course has some of the best fairways I have ever played from and the greens, although a little slow, rolled very smoothly. A very nice course and a great value.

Nice golf course for sure. The greens are nicely maintained but like other players have mentioned, there are tons of divots on the greens. The cart I had was nice, the staff was nice, and the hole layout on the back 9 (only nine I played) was fun. Prices are pretty cheap for military, even the rentals. Would definitely recommend.

I played over 36 holes a week here for the past six months. the staff including the manager Ernie are great and took great care of me and my friends every time we came. the course is well maintained and fun to play. the price for membership was very affordable and well worth it. in my opinion it is the best run and managed MWR facility on fort sill.
