This is merely and update regarding our 2021 Safari Club Adventure was even more spectacular than the last time we visited. Course is in GREAT shape and your pro, Eddie White, as well as the complete staff, we absolutely a delight to work with. My BF golfed here on Friday, June 18, 2021 and I just rode along in the cart. I asked him to give his review because I feel like there were a lot of negative reviews that were no longer applicable. The Tee boxes and greens in good condition, greens recently aerated, greens ran true. GPS on carts sometimes wacky saying get out of the woods when you’re actually on the cart path and all you can do is go in reverse at that point but maybe they were working out the kinks. Fox Hopyard was a beautiful course with a challenging layout. Definitely a remote destination but worth the drive (especially in the fall). This course is not for beginners however, many of the holes require longer carry even for women and senior tees.

09/25/2021 Now, it's back to the top as usual! Great maintenance everywhere, tee boxes, fairways and greens. Perfect! And I also met several staff including the manager. They are all so friendly and nice. Great again! 09/07/2020 (* out of *****) The condition, specifically green is no good at all. Half of greens are brownish and bare dirts. Putting is no fun at all. Too many crabgrass everywhere, tee boxes and fairways. Too many unfixed divots on tee boxes. Spending $100 for a round is too much. The ranger said it's due to the storm and draught in summer 2020. I can’t say enough about the wonderful facilities and staff of Fox Hopyard. Everyone was phenomenal as we hosted an event there this week. The grounds are beautiful, the golf carts are awesome with their gps screens, and the kitchen and bar staff were friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to our next event at Fox Hopyard.

We are full-time wedding photographers who did not have the pleasure of working at the Fox Hopyard Golf Club until the summer of 2024. It dawned on us that we once dined at the private club as we drove on to the property for the wedding day, and we instantly knew we were in for a great wedding. The course and clubhouse, restaurant and bridal suite - it’s all extraordinary and welcoming, as was the staff once again. Played here with the Safari Club on October 13, 2021. It was the second time we've played the course, having played it two years ago. It didn't disappoint! Course was in excellent condition from tee to green. Very interesting layout. No two holes are alike. Some links style holes, and some wooded holes. Great variety! It's the type of course that gives everyone a challenge. Eddie White was a great coordinator for our event and he and all the rest of the staff made our day very enjoyable. Great course, service, and amenities. I had a booking issue on my end where I accidentally scheduled to play the day before I had meant to play. The staff in the shop couldn't have been more accomadating with the issue, and the rest of the staff were great throughout the day. This is a great course. I've now played a handful of times. The course is challenging but fair, and has a lot of character with some really fun and unique green complexes. The course was well-maintained, and the amenities like the range and putting green are very solid. I highly recommend.

I played this awesome course with the Safari golf club on Oct. 13, 2021. The conditions were as good as they get with great tee boxes, lush fairways and true rolling greens. The fact that foliage was in peak color was just a bonus for our club. The layout is both some links style along with holes cut through the woods so you get both styles of courses in one. Staff was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, not something that is always seen as some courses. Will definitely go back again.

Played here as a guest 8/4/2022 and didn't realize they changed to a private club. I have played numerous times in the past when it was public but this experience was by far the best. The course is in the best condition I have ever seen it and every single employee was nice and hospitable. What a fantastic experience and golf course. Great job!! It was a pleasure. I hope to be able to play here again.

Our Garden Club hosted our 20th anniversary celebration at their venue. The banquet and General Manager provided a host of ideas. Since the meal selections are extensive. Our members were delighted with the beauty of how the food was arranged and more importantly how each dish was top notch The waitstaff excited service that continued to compliment the afternoon. Our event was a great success!!

A couple of weeks ago, we played Fox Hopyard with the Safari Club of Massachusetts and it was in fantastic shape. It was our first time playing there and although not an easy course, it was very playable and the holes were all very interesting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The golf carts were the best carts we used all year. After the round, we enjoyed some adult beverages and sandwiches in the well appointed club house. We can’t wait to go back again next year, hopefully, more than once. We highly recommend giving Fox Hopyard a try. You won’t regret it. Jim G.
