Foxford Hills is an excellent track for a public park district course. Unique hole design keeps things interesting, along with challenging greens. It's a bit beat up in places, but far better than most public courses. Well maintained by the groundskeeping staff. No beverage cart the day we played. Food and pro shop staff pleasant and on-task. Golf carts are very good for a public course. GPS and Bluetooth, comfortable seats. Enjoy your round!

My son and I played there today. The course was in good shape. Our issue was that there were two groups ahead of us, two fivesomes. Idk how this is allowed. We had a group of three young ladies directly ahead of us who were constantly waiting for the fivesome group in front of them. The three young ladies eventually cut their losses and jumped two holes ahead of the groups that were holding up play. Once we caught up to the group of five ahead of us on hole 15 the slow play was unbearable and we left. There were no groups on holes 17 and 18 while the two fivesomes just clogged up the course. I…

Well maintained golf course. Greens putt true and fair. Fairways are near perfect. Cost is fair during the week. Staff is friendly and professional. Bar easily handles groups of 48 players. Look forward to playing again soon.

Enjoyed playing here with couple of my buddies Very decent course and some of them do bring lot of challenges like line of bunkers all the way from middle to end. Liked playing here

I had a great time on this course. Elevation changes, different looks, challenging greens and tons of bunkers. The cart has a rake in it I think because there are so many bunkers. If you keep it in the fairway and choose your clubs wisely the course is very fun. If you are in a lot of bunkers I can see the course being overwhelmingly challenging.

This was the first time I played this course, and I loved it. The greens and fairways were well kept. There were a few challenging holes with some well placed bunkers and sand traps. We got lost and confused coming out of one of the tunnels on the back 9, but the other golfers in our group knew which was the correct fork in the road.

One of my favorite courses in the area! The course is in great condition and the golf carts are equipped with a nice GPS. Great layout and scenic for the area

The course is gorgeous and presents a challenge for all players. However, the course is over watered to the point that there is standing water in many of the bunkers or if not, you are hitting mud instead of dry sand.

Great driving range provided by the Cary District. It is a beautiful setting with range stands in the shade, and you hit into an oak tree grove. Automated ball machine. You can use the app or a credit card, so there is no need for a bunch of single-dollar bills.

I would rate this about a 4.7 because of the pace of play, but most believe it’s based on slow play. The course is not overly long, so in order to hit, you have to give extra time for the group in front. A nice hidden gem that is reasonable in price, great conditions and overall fun /challenging to play. The staff, carts and bar are super friendly. Worth a play if you are not in a hurry. Greens are tricky, so watch out. Definitely will return.

Just played it. 11:15 tee time and finished at 4pm on the dot. Brutally slow. Ranger was out there but either he didn't say anything to anyone or their tee times are WAY too close together. Also was 90 plus degrees and ZERO water cooler on the coarse. Course conditions were nice fairways but greens were recently aerated (in July?) so that sucked. Pace of play killed the experience.
