In summary

Fraserview Golf Course is highly regarded for its well-maintained fairways, challenging layout, and beautiful setting, making it a top choice among public courses in Vancouver. The staff are generally praised for being friendly and organized, and the course offers good amenities including a clubhouse and driving range. However, some visitors express concerns about temporary greens and course modifications during winter months, as well as occasional issues with staff interactions and signage.

Well maintained local public golf course. Book in advance, varied terrain, watch out for coyotes. Fast game. Easily walkable with a push cart. Reasonable fees for such course nowadays. It's end of February, sunny, and + 14C. Got lucky for a single drop in.

Attention all winter golfers!!!! If you are looking to play a complete round of golf between Nov 1st and March 30th, Fraserview and the other city courses (McCleery and Langara) are not the optimal choices for the following reasons: - On mornings when there is frost, they use temp greens instead of a frost delay. This is a choice I disagree with but at least can understand. Be advised, if it’s a cold sunny morning, do not expect to be playing their actual greens. - Fraserview will randomly add temp greens as they see fit on other occasions - they require you to use range pads on Par 3’s. The golf course was closed for civid-19 last months. They were well keep this place and let the walkers to enjoy a walk there. The flowers there were so pretty If you are not a golfer, it's still a good place to have a walk there. The spring, summer flowers and fall colours are nice too.

Had a really good time playing here even tho it poured on us all day. The course is in great shape for being in such a dry spell until the day we played. The greens are quick and smooth. I can see why this is rated the top muni course in Vancouver. Really affordable and a good layout.

Fraserview Golf Course is an easy five stars. The course is beautifully maintained, with lush fairways, clean greens, and a layout that’s enjoyable for every skill level. The staff are friendly and organized, the pace of play is smooth, and the scenery makes every round feel relaxing. It’s one of the best public courses in Vancouver and consistently offers great value and a great golfing experience. A top choice for anyone who loves the game.

This is a nice one in the city. There’s also a clubhouse restaurant to enjoy refreshments. Couple of group courses are available here for beginners, there’s 5 levels and they start from basics. Instructors are amiable and friendly. There’s also a store for golf supplies. Plenty of parking available.

Extremely Disappointing Experience This was an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience. What is supposed to be a public, city-operated golf park was treated as if it were private property — with no signage anywhere indicating that walking on the paved pathways is not allowed. On a beautiful day, we simply went for a walk, something I have personally done in this park for over 30 years (including walking, jogging, and biking), without any issues in the past. Unfortunately, we were approached by a staff member named Richard, who was extremely rude, confrontational, and disrespectf…

Had a great time at this course. Pros -Challenging layout with lots of features to navigate around. -moved fairly quickly for a summer afternoon. -good facilities with washrooms and water strategically placed around the course. Cons -Greens were slow and had lots of divots This course has a lot of elevation changes and can be a challenging walk. One piece of advice

They have a good driving range. I find the one in burnaby mountain is a bit bigger, newer and has lights during night time. This one doesn’t but it is more affordable. Great place to go for driving range.

We played the back 9 early morning and we had a great time. The course is pretty, natural, and well groomed. We saw a small coyote, a black bear, and herons.

Fraserview is a gem, but unfortunately only during golf season as it gets muddy. As a single digit handicap this course is very challenging and is treelined every single hole, so you wont be able to see other holes. Very fun layout, like the 18th hole where its a par 5. The driving range needs a bit of work as they have outdated mats and balls and the tees are sketchy as hell, nice pro shop

Great course and well maintained green . Not that challenging but is enjoyable. Rental club is available but not that cheap. The price on weekend is reasonable and you can chose to drive a cart or to pull a cart. Lovely and enjoyable!
