In summary

Marine Drive Golf Club is highly praised for its immaculate course conditions, challenging layout, and scenic setting along the Fraser River. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, and the club's amenities, including dining and event facilities, receive positive feedback. However, some criticisms include issues with event planning communication and restricted public access to the riverfront trail.

Got invited by a couple of members to play golf here. It was a real treat! Definitely the nicest golf course compare to any public course I’ve ever played. Absolutely gorgeous surroundings! Fairways are immaculate and greens are fast and extremely challenging. Everyone was so friendly. No pretentiousness here but be sure to check out their website for guest rules and etiquette and you’ll be alright.

This is one of the private courses located on marine drive and if you get invited to play here you are in for a good round. The conditions are execellent during the golf season and fall time and the driving range is really organized with clean mats and good pracitise balls. Membership is super expensive though, but had the chance to

I had the pleasure to DJ a wedding here last weekend. Staff were all on point, very friendly, helpful and experienced. Food was amazing! Great spot for any event or wedding - DJ Vanstone ‘Zapped Productions DJ’s For Hire’

This is a private golf course along the freezer river nestled between Mcleery Golf course which is a municipal golf course and Point Grey Golf & Country Club, which is another private golf course. Marine Drive golf course is smaller, but still full length. It’s very compact with some overlapping holes with tea boxes. There’s fairly good protections while awaiting on the tea box, but somehow I felt rather exposed on several different fronts when standing waiting to tee off. Because it’s so compact the holes are very closely placed together and again Erin shots have to be watched out for that mo…

Not a good neighbor. They block access along the river shoreline. I clean up litter from their property every day.

Marine Drive Golf Club is truly one of the best golf experiences in Vancouver. The course is in immaculate condition year-round, offering a perfect balance of challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels. The greens are fast and true, the fairways are beautifully maintained, and the overall course layout is both scenic and strategic. Beyond the golf, the clubhouse and facilities are top-notch. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making every visit feel special. The dining options are excellent, with great food and stunning views to match. Whether you’re a seasoned go…

We DO NOT recommend this place at all. Been trying to book an event here for November, started inquiries in January 2024. At first they were accommodating but the inquiries stretched on until April because either the event manager, Fani T. was always away or they just didn’t like that we had a lot of questions due to we just want everything to run smooth during the event. It takes forever for them to reply to an email until all of a sudden they just stop responding at all. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. It seems like they didn’t want us to book their place for our event. It’s a…

I'm sad the photo didn't show how beautiful the front of this building is. I was here performing magic for a special event. The Marine drive golf Club is a wonderful facility in course. If you want to come in for something to eat or beverage you are welcome. If you're coming in for an event, the staff and facility is fantastic.

My husband and I chose this venue for our August 2021 wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the food was delicious. However, we ran into a few issues while planning our wedding. This also of course was also due to our wedding being during covid. Basically, we had booked this venue 1 year before our scheduled wedding date and about 3 months before our wedding date, we inquired about certain details pertaining to the planning of our event and to our horrific surprise, the restaurant manager came back to us saying that they are no longer holding weddings at this venue and that we have the…

This golf course is the only one of the nearby golf courses around the Fraser River to deny public access to the Fraser River Trail - a multi-use pathway that has been approved by the city for decades. Not only have they denied access, but they have restricted existing access by installing fences blocking the use of an existing trail. If not for this place, we could have a riverfront trail from Musqueam to the Arbutus Greenway and Kent Bikeway in compliance with the Explore the Fraser project. This is a trail that should be accessible to equestrian activities, cycling, and walking. Take cue f…
