In summary

French Woods Golf & Country Club is highly praised for its beautiful mountain setting, well-maintained course, and challenging layout, particularly the small, tricky greens. The staff is frequently described as friendly and accommodating, and the clubhouse offers good food and drinks, enhancing the overall experience. Great course. Sweet 16 hole is amazing. Recommend hitting off the white tees for the best view and the most fun. Clubhouse is also a great place to stop after the 9th hole or at the end of your game. Angie is accommodating and funny.

Great golf, good food & drinks at the club house, and fantastic views. Add a stay at the Bass Mountaintop cabins and you've got a guaranteed good time.

The course has a nice setup and is fun to play. Amazing scenery and views. Stayed in one of the cabins for a weekend. Plenty of privacy and they have everything you need for a comfortable stay!

I recently stayed here with a few of my friends for a golf trip. Couldn't have been better! The cabins are super nice, super clean and ready to go. We did a package which included food. Every meal was fantastic with the best service! I highly recommend this great golf resort!! Great job to all the staff. Keep up the good work!

Great course. Food is excellent staff is amazing very attentive. Clean facility. Cabins were clean and had all you needed for a quick stay. Only thing I noticed were the cart paths were pretty rough and the carts showed the wear from it. Other then that had a great time

Was ok. Nothing to write home about. Some good views. Prices outrageous. Cabin rentals are not too bad for 2 days if split between couple buddies. Food garbage and overpriced. Probably won't come back unless someone else is paying. Super strict on dress code.

One heck of a 'Mountain Course' in rural French Woods/Hancock N.Y... Tiny, challenging greens that roll every which way... A great deal for the money. A LOT of fun to play! Challenging par 3s, 4s and 5s. Employees are kind, courteous & extremely helpful. Will DEFINITELY be back soon. Can't say enough good things. Thank you!

Nice course, nice people, well maintained. Greens have subtle breaks, you need to take a good look to see the break. Pretty much a hilltop course with beautiful views.
