Glencairn Golf Club - Leithfield

I recently played at this course and have mixed feelings. On the positive side, the layout is very nice – a challenging design, well-kept fairways, and fast greens that make it fun to play. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined by the staff. The marshall was extremely pushy, constantly rushing us and insisting we complete 9 holes in just 2 hours. This felt unreasonable, especially since there were no groups waiting ahead of us or behind us. It really took away from the enjoyment of the round. The restaurant was also disappointing. Quite enjoyed my round here. Plenty of parking, the range was properly maintained and had a variety of targets. Putting green was in great shape, and circled some flag poles which was unique. The course itself is in good condition, quite green everywhere. Some fun shots and interesting playing holes with white stakes separating the holes that you need to pay attention to off the tee. Bunkers were well maintained and the deeper ones have stone steps in and out of them. The halfway house is very nice with a good selection of food and drinks. Lovely location. Staff are amazing. Great for a wedding. Got to experience a lot they had to offer. I was in a wedding being held here, the grounds are lovely. The golf course was super fun! Took a lot of beautiful pictures . Thank you team Would strongly suggest them!

Love this link course. Feel like golfing in Ireland without the howling wind. Course is perfectly manicured and is challengingly designed for both high and low handicap players. The clubhouse is amazing ! One of the best link course I play.

Course is in good shape. Fair but still challenging. Was very hot when we played and we could have used a beverage cart. But apparently they don't have them here.

Loved this great course despite the poor weather we experienced. I will try to make it out here again soon.

Always a treat playing at Glencairn. Greens and bunksers are in prestein conditon. Each hole is special on its own, truely a links style Scotish course.

We are really enjoying the experience and the club! The staff are so amazing! The links style course is absolutely beautiful, however challenging!

Lovely grounds and great facility to host events. Food and Service is excellent!!

Had a work event hosted there. Amazing food. Nice location. It was cold so would have been cool in the summer. But good nonetheless.
