Gleneagles Golf Club

Just the way I remembered it. Don't change anything. Bartender/starter was great. If you have never played it. Don't expect Harding Park. Expect a really fun and challenging 9 holes. Or play it twice from different tees. 5 star course

Voted as the top 20 9-hole course, I would totally agree with it, this course is just amazing!!! Not just because it's design of blending in the trees, but also the view to the bay, it's hard to imagine that this is the course 25mins away from the San Francisco downtown. Such a resort like ambience, I take the most photos ever from a 9-hole course. One thing noticeable is that their club house is like a bistro, an authentic wooden little house, quite interesting.

One of the hardest 9 hole courses that I have ever golfed. For a public course it's very well maintained. And the number of challenging holes. One of the best golf bars I've ever seen I would just hang out with this bar in general.

With the recent rain the course is lush and green. It's well maintained minus having water in the ball washers except for when there's rain and it fills it up. The best thing I love about this 9 hole is that there's the variety of par 4s and 5s and not just par 3s. Plus you can get 18 holes if you do a second round at the second tee box. Another great thing is that everyone is friendly including those who work there. It is definitely a hidden gem in SF.

Bravo all around. This is what golf should look like. If you are worried about conditioning, just roll your ball and get over it. Magnificent design, and kudos for culture. Beautiful clubhouse, and absurdly fun golf course. Gent in the clubhouse was great and very welcoming.

Scott in the pro shop was a true gentlemen. Gave a clean course overview, good tips and served a killer scotch. The greens were perfect and the environment was special from the second you turn onto the property. It was windy for sure, and the course was setup for it. A+ 5 stars and more if I could

My first golf experience in SF. I’ll start off by saying this 9 hole course will challenge you. If you stray away from the fairways you will pay for it. By far some of the toughest greens I’ve ever played. The pin placement makes it that much more challenging.

Gleneagles is open for golfing - disc and traditional. Got in 9 holes today and enjoyed some great weather and a 1h45m round. Course is in ok shape; the greens seemed to have been given the most TLC but the fairways and tee boxes were a little rough at times. The layout overall is pretty fun though, with some challenging shots to keep it interesting. They’ve got 2 tee boxes for each hole, so you can play a full 18 if you want to get in a full round. My friend and I were visiting San Francisco for a golf trip. On our last day of our trip before flying out, we found a cheap tee time at Gleneagles. 4 of us showed up for our tee time, and the guy in the proshop/restaurant was a total prick. I told him we were checking in for our tee time, and the first thing he says is “there are so many things wrong with this booking, why are there 4 of you here.” I have never had an issue having an extra person coming as long as they pay for their own seat on the cart. Very basic course. Fairways are not maintained well. No distance markings. No directions.

This “course” was a disappointment. The fairways were in terrible shape, resembling anything but actual fairways. The rough was nothing more than patches of dirt, and the greens were badly beaten up.

Played 9 holes golf here. It rained the morning so the ground was quite muddy and I didn’t finish all 9 holes, but I thoroughly enjoyed the amazing views and atmosphere
