In summary

Presidio Golf Course is widely praised for its beautiful setting, challenging yet fair layout, and well-maintained greens and fairways. The staff is frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, and the amenities, including a clubhouse and driving range, enhance the overall experience. While most visitors are impressed, some have noted occasional issues with course conditions and communication about maintenance, as well as the lack of food options at the snack shack.

This beautiful golf course is opened to the public, some of the holes are just amazing with the open space, great vistas. The course is challenging but not impossible for a regular golfer. We enjoyed the clubhouse and relaxed atmosphere. We were here during the weekday, weekends must be so busy.

Beautiful vistas, friendly staff, well maintained course - all you need for a wonderful round of golf. I love playing early as the rising sun is beautiful and the light coming through the trees is resplendent. The fog is mystical and the dew reflective and surreal. The course is a good mix of length and accuracy. They course is maintained well and the workers who maintain it are amazing. They also offer a back nine over the weekends and that is a great way to play early. I’ve been coming to this course for about twenty years and still love it. It keeps getting better.

I haven't played this course in over 10 years because it's private and fairly challenging. I had the opportunity to play and had the best time. In 2024, I developed bursitis and took a year off to heal. For my first game of 2026, I treated myself to a round at Presidio Golf and really enjoyed talking with the staff and grounds people, who were all courteous and friendly. For a private course, I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The Tee Time prices are very reasonable, and I even received a discount from the Online Rate I booked. Please remember to feed the Parking Meeters before you…

I’ve played Presidio Golf Course several times over the past couple of years, and I finally decided it deserves a review because I love this place. Every round feels a little different—the trees, fog, and light make it one of the most scenic courses in the city. The layout is challenging but fair, with a great mix of tight holes that reward accuracy and a few longer ones where you can really open it up. The greens are always in good shape, and the staff has consistently been friendly and professional. Between the beautiful setting, well-kept conditions, and relaxed pace, Presidio has become…

It's at the top of the mountain. You wouldn't expect it, but it's up there. Eventually, the Golf course shows up and it has a Golf range, just like any other. The staffs are really cool and nice. You should check it out!

I expected that I wouldn't be able to finish the 18th hole by setting an afternoon tea time. I even thought it was natural because the team in front of me had been delayed for a really long time. But fortunately, I managed to finish it. The tee box was not good and the fairway was not bad. However, the green condition was good, but the ball did not roll. It was very amazing. The wind was extremely strong, but the beautiful scenery and cool weather were very satisfying. Among them, I think the parking lot wind was the strongest... I'd like to visit you again next time at Ozan Time. Unfortunatel…

Great local course. Very friendly pro shop that showed us around so we knew where to go on the turn, no one does that. Starters were great, gave some great advice and marked up the scorecard so we could reference it. We walked the course and it was a workout. Lots of elevation changes. Holes were beautiful. Conditions were great. Never saw the golden gate though, which I assumed we would but that's my only complaint.

This is an awesome golf course. I rented clubs, they gave me a Qi10 set. Cart, 9 holes, rentals, one beer and a bucket of range balls...... 70 BUCKS :) The views are amazing. Every bolt was picture worthy.

Set against a backdrop of towering trees and rolling hills, this golf club blends natural beauty with a challenging design. The fairways are generous and well-maintained, while the fast greens demand accuracy. Views of the Golden Gate Bridge lend a unique charm to the setting. Although the course is demanding, it’s a must-play in San Francisco for golfers who enjoy strategic play and picturesque scenery. The clubhouse’s timeless design adds to the historic character of the venue.

I was super excited to play Presidio golf course. I had a 1.5hr drive from San Jose and have never been. The group that I went with have and gave great reviews about it. The round that we were graced with on 8/18 was anything but that. The greens were a huge let down they were still in the process of being regrown after a punch with over grown long grass huge old punch holes and sand.( The picture I took on the 16th green was in better condition compared to the rest) Not once was this mentioned to anyone in my group of 4. No emails, phone calls or mentions in the club house. I cannot understan…

This golf course was amazing. The prices were actually reasonable given the amenities and high quality clubs they rent, except for the Irish coffee after hole 8 which tasted very bad, but not a major issue. The views, the scenery, the flora all around was just mesmerizing. Glad I could play a round with some friends. Will definitely try to return when my skills improve to enjoy it as most as I can.
