In summary

Lincoln Park Golf Course is praised for its stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge and San Francisco landmarks, offering a scenic and challenging layout with significant elevation changes. However, many visitors express concerns about the course's maintenance, citing issues with greens and fairways, and find the pricing high given the condition and lack of amenities. While some appreciate the friendly staff and overall experience, others report dissatisfaction with customer service and course management.

The only course we played with no signs what so ever. Don’t be surprised playing back 9 after playing first 2 holes , assuming you on right path. Directions are tricky. 2nd hole missing flag and a dirty green with wooden planks on it. Very unusual locations from one green to next Tees. Few greens are better than others. Fairways are full of dandelions and wild weed flowers & slushy mud holes. Great views of golden gate in the back drop though. It’s all gray and foggy on a July summer. Hopefully one day there would be sun in this part of the world!

Course kept in decent condition at best, course had some challenging aspects but definitely not the hardest course. However this golf course is extremely overpriced though. In reality you are paying because you can see the Golden Gate Bridge from the course. For 94 dollars a person with a cart you would think there would be basic golf amenities (at least one bathroom on the course that isn’t a public one that’s probably owned by the museum if not just public, water bottle refill station, no cart people, etc.) Hell even if you think that’s too much at least make it not cart path only. The club…

Man ..... this is definitely the toughest 18 holes I've ever walked through ....... lots of up and downhill, and all with BIG SLOPE, you need to stablize yourself before making the next shot. Except Hole 17 is Lincoln Park's signature hole, as you get the good view of the Golden Gate Bridge, this course basically tour you around all the landmarks of San Francisco Area, Legion of Honor, SF downtown, particularly the Transamerica Pyramid, though by distance, but good enough to checkmark your list.

This course is one with the most beautiful views of San Francisco in many directions. Sure, it isn’t the best maintained course. Sometimes it has been dreadful. It’s a public course. But, for the price you pay? It’s beyond worth it. They had replaced their carts in the last year (2022). It’s challenging and it’s fun. It doesn’t take more than 3 1/2-4 hours to play a whole round (usually) and the Bloody Mary’s are delicious. NOTE: Do NOT leave items within view inside your parked car. Smash and grabs aren’t rare in this parking lot.

I recently played at Lincoln Park Golf Course and it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The staff were noticeably unfriendly and came across as rude, which set a negative tone right away. Simple questions were met with short, dismissive responses, and there was little effort to make guests feel welcome. On top of that, the fees are far too high for what you get. The course and facilities feel outdated and poorly maintained, yet the pricing suggests a much higher-quality experience. It’s hard to justify paying premium rates for a facility that clearly hasn’t kept up with mod…

So 2 stars maybe low but I will say that this courses elevations are extremely tough.. the tall trees punish your shots if you hit high and long. Unfortunately, this course is for people who hit stringers and low shots. THE VIEWS ARE AMAZING 🤩.

Great place for walking and seeing the cliffs and ocean. Great views of Golden Gate Bridge. Golf course is a great choice for an exciting game of golf with great views.

The staff is very rude and unhelpful. I made a reservation to enjoy playing with a friend. They made us join another 2 strangers for a party of 4 even though they moved at a different speed. We would have preferred to move at our own pace, letting others pass us if they catch up with us. Yet, the staff didn't make any accommodations. Far from it they rushed our entire group. Also, they didn't have any wheels for our bags. We had to carry the equipment on our backs which was painful. The place is clearly poorly managed. Save your money and go somewhere nicer.

Course is terribly maintained and way overpriced for the condition it’s in. Don’t be lured by the open tee times, they’re open for a reason. The greens are basically same traps, fairway mud, and tee boxes uneven ground.

The View Is Spectacular. A place worth checking out. If u r a tourist with a rental car, make sure u dont leave anything valuable in the car cause I've seen so many car break-ins around this rea and Lands End.

Scenic and reasonably priced public course. Quite hilly and spread out so recommend having a push cart or renting a golf cart, which get booked out quickly so do it in advance. Drinks and food are disappointingly overpriced which reduces any temptation to grab a snack at the turn. Some fun holes but nothing too unique about the layout.

Greens were being worked on but overall one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played on. Golden gate in the background of multiple holes.
