In summary

Goderich Sunset Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, well-maintained greens, and friendly, helpful staff, making it a pleasant experience for both seasoned and beginner golfers. The course offers a mix of 18-hole and par-3 options, with some visitors particularly enjoying the unique hole designs and elevation changes. However, some guests have noted that the fairways and bunkers could use better maintenance, and there have been occasional issues with pace of play and course conditions.

Great little track. Some very nice holes. Lots of holes to get the driver out on for sure. Plays fairly quick as well. Went as a foursome and were done in 4 hours. Only problem was that they have no beer cart :(.....

Don't spend your money here!. Firstly, to all the loyal locals, members, regulars here, I applaud you for staying faithful...but if you're looking for a nice course to play, look elsewhere. I've been playing here occasionally for 25 years, and always enjoyed it. I hadn't played in 4-5 years though, until today. Terrible condition!! The fairways are 80% clover and other weed. The bunkers are mostly weed filled...why leave a rake? To garden? Possibly new ownership? I don't know, but I wont ever play here again. Same thing happened to Sawmill Creek in Sarnia....waste of a visit. On a positive not…

My family and I were in Goderich for a few days and visited this club. The people there were beyond amazing and so helpful. My sons loved the driving range and the 9-hole course. We will be back!

Fairways tee boxes and bunkers were not maintained very well. Was a bit surprised based on the amount we had to spend. Greens were in really good shape compared to the rest of the course though. Didn't feel very welcome unfortunately.

Nice track, with the extreme heat in July we have had, it’s in very good shape, we only got to play 9 as it started raining and thundering on the 9th hole.

Beautiful golf course. Well maintained. Good bunkers, and great greens. Friendly staff. Carts are older but run well. We went middle of the week and play was a little slow. A challenging layout even for a better player. A lot of hidden greens and elevation changes. Bring your A-game!

Great 18 hole course and a separate par 3, 9 hole course as well. Cheerful staff to get you on your way too!

We went on a rainy day and the course was not busy at all. We were told at the turn that we were too slow and needed to be quicker. Most of our group were inexperienced golfers so we played best ball. Won't golf here again and don't recommend it if you aren't experienced enough to meet their standards.

We were camping and lucked out having this course beside us. I am new to golfing and absolutely loved the par thee...so great to work on my shots...I didn't lose a ball! Family owned/operated and it shows how much they care. Ashley was a great help to my husband picking out the right new shoes. The full course looked lovely and we were excited to try it as our last game. Unfortunately our truck had issues so we called to cancel and they were very gracious about it. Our goal next time we are this way is to play for sure!

Played it for my first time. Memorable holes for me... Hole 1 for its immediate very close road danger. Hole 5 is a righty natural drive able par 4. It's low altitude tee box, forcing your eye and shot shape to hit in fact back uphill, into a sharp left to right sweeping hole. Done correctly, you launch high over very big trees to cut the distance of your second shot down to that of a chip or even a putt. Holes 6 and 7 are especially memorable to me because I've never played back to back par 3s that have the exact same 210 yard distance, same hole shape and tree line too. Imagine my surpri…

Last round of the year Grounds staff pulled flags behind us. Great work this year, exciting years to follow. Challenge yourself in 2024 and come play a course where ball placement is rewarded and the staff always welcoming.

Poorly run, busy Sunday afternoon nobody enforcing tee times or pace of play. Agonizingly slow as other golfers have no respect for golf etiquette. Driving range is a mess.
