All photos are taken and distributed by Be Photographed. Apple Mountain is a beautiful Michigan wedding venue, especially in the fall. When I take photos here, the October colors create the most stunning backdrop — Karla and Nate’s wedding day was the perfect example of how well this venue photographs. The getting-ready spaces, ceremony site, and reception area are all conveniently close to each other, which makes the flow of the day smooth and easy for both couples and photographers. My only concern during this visit was that two individuals drove a golf cart behind the ceremony right as th…

Very scenic. The staff is very nice. The course is in country club condition. The front 9 is a little nicer than the back 9. The only downside we had was there were 4 holes in a row where they had mowers going in the late morning which can get very distracting after your first missed hit. We also had lunch on site after the round. It was good and the staff was nice there as well.

Fairways and greens are always in great shape. Pro was informative and knowledgeable. A must stop on your way up north!

First time golfing here and I will say the course and facilities are very nice. I booked an open tee time for 18 holes with my son at 5 pm and the Marshall started us right on time. He warned us there was large group playing a scramble but we should be good. We made it to the second hole and the back up began. To make a long story short, by the sixth hole we had 4 different groups waiting to go. The Marshal came by and checked on what the hold up was but it was one of those it is what it is deals. By the time we made it to the ninth hole we knew there would be no way we were getting 18 in, not…

Course is in solid shape, but the $74 “twilight” rate is insane. No walking rate is a shame it would be a great walk for 15-16 holes. This is a $80 course at best during peak season.

Played this course this past week and it is in excellent condition, fast greens. A few holes seem to be a bit "tricked up", but overall it is a very nice track. The only reason I am not giving this a 5 star review is because the pace of play was incredibly slow! A 5 hour round on a weekday, no thank you. We have played several other courses in the area without any pace of play issues.

Really enjoyed this course. In great shape. Challenging course. Greens were pretty fast when we played. Cost is a little pricey but its one of the best in this area. Excellent customer service. Carts were good. Only thing that needs some improving is the speed when purchasing drinks/food. This could affect speed of play. Loved the facility, practice area and the course. Ranger was also fantastic. Keep up the great work!

Very fun course. Fast greens! Unfortunately there are some houses which are ‘hit-able’. Be VERY careful on the par 5’s as there are home owners who will be absolutely furious if you hit their house (on accident). They will take pics of you, scream, and threaten you… Fantastic experience all around - beautiful views, great staff, and fun bar cart gals!

We attended my niece's wedding reception at Apple Mountain on June 21, 2025. The bartenders were fun and engaging. The food was some of the best we have ever had at a reception. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. My 14 year old son left his Invisalign on his plate when they took it. They happily returned it to us. Beautiful venue! Such attention to detail!!

This was our second stop on our golf trip from Canada and we played early Sunday morning as a bonus round after talking to another gentleman at another golf course who recommended we stop in. So glad we did. Bit more of a pricey course. I think it was $130 to play 18 with a cart. (I am a cheap Canadian golfer that typically doesn't spend any more than $90 including tax on around... Which in American dollars is probably like $1.85 😂) We were met in the parking lot by Rachel, who was, absolutely fantastic and full of smiles. She grabbed our clubs and loaded up the carts while we went in to cha…

Absolutely incredible resort. The course is in country club condition. Greens were receptible and ran true. They were lighting fast. The fairways were mowed tight and the rough thick and long. I'll definitely play here again.
