The course is very well maintained, my favorite in Saginaw, by far. They're always making improvements, taking down trees, fixing the greens, and much more. The employees in the pro shop are on top of checking you in for your tee time, and accommodating you promptly when you arrive. The rangers are always friendly and attentive to your cart for sand etc. I love the gps screens on the carts too! The bar and grill has great food, I have yet to order something I didn't like. Outings are managed well and enjoyable, food is good for outing dinners, prizes are fun, and everyone is welcoming.

Oh my gosh. I went to their pub and grill for the first time tonight. We got the onion rings, cheeseburger, chicken tenders and Baja chicken wrap. Everything was SOOOO good. Our server was super sweet and attentive. I was shocked at how affordable it was. We will be making that one of our regular stops. Absolutely everything was tasty it made my kids do a little happy dance

Great staff, great course, and my favorite range in the area. Food and drinks are always top notch too!

The course itself is actually pretty nice — well kept and enjoyable to play. However, the staff completely ruins the experience. Especially the park rangers in particular are unbelievably rude, acting like angry old men with a chip on their shoulder. Zero professionalism, zero customer service. It’s a shame because the course deserves better representation. Never would golf here again strictly on the customer service shown by the staff. New hires would be very beneficial.

Hit the Pub & Grill for food and drinks. Gorgeous view of the course Like right out of a magazine. If you want to have some fun, order a "Squirrel Nut Zipper" and see if they can figure it out. The Electric Squirrel from Loggers is awesome ! Second choice is Oberon (pictured)

My favorite saginaw county course! Use your entire bag. So many unique holes. Challenging yet true greens. Front is subdivision golf with beautiful homes and the back is in the middle of the woods. So much variety and very well maintained.

If you are looking for a great golf experience with excellent food, Sawmill is the place. The course is intriguing with fast, challenging greens. There are a nice variety of holes that are both tight and challenging to more open and playable. Adam and the staff are always friendly and accommodating. If it is practice you are after, The driving range and putting green are some of the best around. Check out Sawmill. You won't be disappointed.

Very lucky to have the Sawmill as an option. Course is in great shape. Carts are phenomenal. Clubhouse and course staff are friendly and professional. Food and beverage options are good too and reasonably priced.

Myself and a few friends drove down from Canada to experience a 4-day golf trip and this is where we started our adventure. Price wasn't bad for the course. Decent local track that was about as expected. Nothing stellar, but nothing that was terrible. We are definitely planning on going back not just for the golf, but the whole clubhouse experience afterwards. Before our round, we headed into the clubhouse to get some food. Pulled pork sandwich was amazing. The bourbon burger my buddy had said it was amazing (he had the same Burger again at the end of the round). I think the other guys had a…

Very nice course. Always enjoy playing it with a very nice layout. All kinds of mix of different holes with some easy and some difficult. Good length and risk reward combinations. Greens are also good, not very fast but roll nice and true. New management has done well with the course. Keep it up Adam!!!!

The course was in great shape, fun layout, friendly staff. The electronic screen was a pain in the but! For what we paid in green fees, I don't want to be bombarded with advertising while I'm golfing! The had the 90 degree rule, which we tried to honor, but then you'd get nasty warnings if you were here or there???

I attended a Lions event yesterday at The sawmill bar and grill. And although the waitresses and event where great were great, they misinformed me on a price of an item. Once I was billed I informed the manager of the mistale. When I asked her if she was going to still charge me for it she said yes. Then she acted like because I had a gift certificate there was no reason to fix the price. Then she insulted me and asked me why sir, did you lose your job or something sarcastically?. ( Which was uncalled for and very disrespectful) As I talked to her she put her hand in my face and I asked her po…
