In summary

Pleasant View Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere, particularly for new and young golfers. The owner, Bruce, is frequently praised for his helpfulness and dedication to the youth program. However, many visitors criticize the course's maintenance, citing issues with tee boxes, greens, and bunkers, as well as inconsistent pricing and operational challenges. Despite these concerns, the course remains a popular choice for those seeking an affordable and relaxed golfing experience.

It's not the most fancy, or the newest, or perfectly groomed but I absolutely love it. My girls and I are out there weekly, the owner is awesome. It's just a fun time playing. The course is challenging but not overly tough. I'd recommend it

I've been golfing here at Pleasant View a few times per season for the past 20+ years and I love it, it's close to my home and it's reasonably priced. Great walkable coarse. They have push/pull hand carts and electric golf carts for rent. Bruce is the man as well, he's very friendly. I accidentally broke the handle to my push/pull golf bag cart once while I was golfing here and asked him if he thought it would be worth fixing. Wouldn't you know it, he had a handle there and helped me fix it good as new. Saved me from buying a new one! I appreciate your kindness and for helping me out Bruce!

Great practice area for kids The course itself is not in the greatest shape but it's a great place to take kids to learn the game of golf

Bruce does an amazing job with the youth program. Teaching the kids about the fundamentals and golf etiquette. My daughter started her golf journey there 20 years ago. Amazing job Bud! Keep up the great work! It was great seeing you today.

Great range and deceptively tricky 9 hole course.

Could not get anyone to answer the phone at 10:00 am on a Friday. Took a chance and drove there, where there was 25+ vehicles there, thought it might be busy but when I got to the door to enter it was locked. I asked the other person waiting there and he said it was locked. No sign on the door to when they would be back. There are tons of other golf courses in Saginaw which we promptly drove to.

Called and reserved a special 8am tee time for my friends wedding. Day of wedding comes, all the groomsman arrive… but no employees show up. So we only had time to play four holes and our socks/shoes got soaked. A cart(like we ordered) would have been nice! It’s not a nice looking course and poorly maintained, but it was only $20 for 9 w cart(well supposed to have been).

The course is an absolute dump. All the sand traps are full of grass and water. The course is perfect for 16 year olds who want to disrespect the corse and waste time. The carts died on the 3rd hole and the owner is disrespectful and rude.

Worst course I've ever played and paid $33 for 9 holes with a rider. The wife comes along to relax and enjoy the views. There are no views. Sprinkler heads right next to the hole, sand traps are hard as concrete, 3 short par 3s by hole 5, carts are ancient. Staff was nice.

Needs alot of work tee boxes were dirt, putting green were very patchy and prices were over priced for sure for the course being in that condition my first time was definitely my last

I have yet to golf this course, but I would like to express my experience. I am home from leave and inquired about rates. The gal working the counter took the time to answer my questions, was extremely pleasant and eager to find a solution. I looked forward to golfing this course, but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it.

played here for a year straight while at school, decently maintained course and definitely cheap, layed back environment most of the time. prices constantly changing and so are the rules of the course when you buy a round. going into fall last year the course offered only unlimited golf and it became standard as i went more frequently. as soon as spring came no rules or ideas of the purchase was given resulting in my looping back around to hole one as usaul resulting in the owner threatening to call the police
