In summary

The Golf Club at Terra Lago is highly praised for its well-maintained courses, stunning desert views, and challenging layouts, with many golfers enjoying the unique elevation changes and variety of holes. The staff is generally regarded as friendly and helpful, though some visitors have noted issues with customer service in the pro shop. While the course conditions are often excellent, there are occasional concerns about slow pace of play and operational hiccups, such as cart availability and maintenance.

We played a round on the North Course on the morning of Saturday, December 27, 2025. It was my first time playing this course, and I absolutely loved it. It’s appropriately challenging, very well maintained, and above all, the views are stunning. Considering the course conditions, level of difficulty, and overall enjoyment, I would give it a full 5 out of 5. A few minor drawbacks: 1. Since there is no navigation system on the carts, it’s best to bring a personal rangefinder. 2. The greens were at an average speed, which was a bit disappointing, though this likely varies by season. 3. The scor…

Conditions great. Busy but pace of pay was pretty on point. All staff very nice. Carts are electric. I had a blast. I also should mention that all comments regarding the pro shop customer service issues are true and verified from my experience for multiple days.

Great course, tough, but fun. The staff was very helpful, and made it a great experience. Price was great especially for the quality of the course.

The courses are decent to good. There are some really friendly and helpful staff beyond the pro shop. Less friendly in the pro shop! Good views of the desert, good variety of holes. Play was slow on a hot day, not convinced the marshals were doing there best to keep people moving. Good driving range and practice areas.

I was staying at the Worldmark Indio which is about a 3 min walk to the clubhouse. This club has two courses (South & North). I wasn't planning to play when we booked the trip but once I saw the course, I had to book a round or two. I played the south course on Jan 19th and the north on 21st. Both of the courses were awesome and in great condition. To me the south course was a little more challenging but the north course was much more scenic. The staff was excellent. As I didn't take clubs I rented through the course. The set was complete with 14 clubs (all Callaway with the exception of the T…

I have played 3 rounds here. The course is really nice but the pace is terrible. Every round I have played the people I played with left after 9 holes. I realize there was a tournament going on but if it is going to be 6 hour rounds don’t take tee times. Other than pace the course would be ideal. Maybe I got a bad weekend

Play course on August 24, 2024. From the beginning the staff was very friendly on getting people started on their teetimes. The course has good practice facilities. As for the course itself it does need some work. Some tee boxes are uneven and have a lot of dry spots. The Fairway's have dirt spots in a lot of dry patches. However, the greens and the bunkers are in very good shape despite a few needing extra attention. The course would be one of the best around if they will pay more attention to the fairways and the tee boxes. I was also disappointed that I did not see a cart girl all round on…

This is one of my long time favorite courses in the desert. To me it feels like a links style course, nestled out in the middle of the desert wilderness. Even the other well known golf courses this side of the 10 freeway really feel nothing like this truly unique offering. Terra Lago is built up and down sandy mountain peaks across a broad expanse of desert landscape. The course offers a good variety of bombs away tee shots from elevated tee boxes, several challenging uphill holes, greens that beg you to attack the pin but can leave you heartbroken if you’re not careful, and some absolutely g…

Beautiful course! Came back the next day..North..so much variety in the hills. Staff was amazing..cart bros and Marshalls were like friends hanging out. Shout out to Robert in the cart area. Went beyond for courtesy. Left my phone on the cart and he put it aside and handed to me the next morning. Ayed a bunch of courses in Palm springs. This was my favorite for the $100 US

Awesome desert golf with 2 great courses to play. Very unique and fun layouts. Conditions were amazing and greens rolled true. Signature holes are beautiful and perfect for selfies or group pics! It's also the "Home of The Skins Game!".. If you can only play one, I would choose the South course.. it's more scenic and challenging. Will definitely be back soon!

Outstanding staffing, easy check-in, and all golf bags were on our carts ready for us to go to the driving range. Course design was challenging, fairways were in immaculate condition. Greens were breath taking, the roll was really slow. We would highly recommend this course.

Skins Game anyone? I was told this course is pretty tough. Haven't played the South Course. I can attest. The North Course is pretty tough. To be completely honest. It's a Desert Dunes ripoff. The main difference. Terra Lago moved a lot of earth to make that course. Whereas Desert Dunes was made using the land more naturally. The latter was never really intended for tournament play. Terra Lago was made for the Skins Game & possibly other future events at the time. The lights are still there on the final three greens on the North. Conditions are super good. Except the slow greens with the su…
