The course was in great shape and the service was fantastic. The Pro was very helpful in describing the course to me and the starter was very informative too. While the course is not too long, I found it was worth paying for the cart as it is a hilly course. For anyone vacationing (like me) in the area, I recommend trying the Heights. Its challenging and the views are spectacular! The picture I'm attaching is from the tee box on 10, looking out to Owls Head.

By far the best place around. Next to NO burnt grass. Staff takes great care of it's members, even non members. I would recommend this challenging course to EVERYONE.

The course is in pristine condition and rates with cart or walking very very reasonable. A bit of a drive and well hidden off of rte 143 but a great experience.

Friendly staff at the pro shop and the restaurant. Good value breakfast, too, but restaurant closes in the early afternoon. Course is on top of a mountain, so the views are very nice and there are some good uphill and downhill holes, along with a variety of doglegs and Par3s. It is a very enjoyable course to play, but strongly consider taking a cart your first time; walking will be a challenge. Everything was in good shape for golf. It is worth the drive, and a good value.

I went there recently to play a round of golf with my son. It took over 5 hours to play. I have never had such a slow round. I complained to the manager and was given the excuse that there was a tournament earlier in the day - no apology. Best ball does not take 5 hours. There was no Marshall on the course to deal with the bottleneck and they seemed no to care in the least that we paid$65 each for the round. Golf is no fun when it takes this long to play. Something should have been done about the slow play. I was not the only dissatisfied customer. I won’t be going back any time soon.

Nice course, difficult for a beginner but a very enjoyable round. Difficult to walk because of all the hills, consider renting a cart. Some breathtaking views, nice staff and relaxed club house.

Amazing! Everyone is friendly and it is a great course to spend the day playing. Challenging and fun to play. All you could ask for in a course, plus the views of the surrounding lake and mountains is 5star spectacular!
