In summary

Goose River Golf Club is highly praised for its beautiful and well-maintained 9-hole course, scenic surroundings, and friendly, accommodating staff. Visitors appreciate the challenging layout with its elevation changes and commend the club's amenities, including GPS-equipped carts and a welcoming clubhouse. What a beautiful course! Got a free round in Father's Day. Much appreciated! Definitely coming back.

Great 9 hole track. Can get a bit swampy after a rain but the grounds crew has done an excellent job with drainage over the past few years. There are a few steep hills if you are planning to walk (holes 2, 3, and 5) but if your legs are good, ditch the cart and enjoy the course on foot! Carts have GPS and there’s a small but fun bar in the clubhouse

Played this course with my 3 sons. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. After playing 6 holes we were hit with a heavy thunderstorm. We were offered a full rain check for the following day, thank you! The course and greens were in nice shape considering the previous rainfall. Very picturesque with interesting and fun layout and lots of elevation changes. Reasonable rate, If your in the area I would highly recommend Goose River!

Golfed 9 holes walking on 7/7/23 and were greeted by 2 young boys who offered a ride to the clubhouse then an offer to clean our clubs and most refreshing of all was the conversation. So polite and respectful and pleasant, the parents of these 2 young men should embrace such precious character and drive in their sons. They also came out in a cart at the 7th hole with cold water-what a treat! The course was beautiful as always despite the incredible amount of rain recently. What a wonderful experience!!

Amazing course and go out of their way to put the customers first. Paid for 18 and pace of play got too long to make turn due to other prior arrangements. Gave me a refund on 9 holes and when the refund didn’t post on my account they personally called me and made it right. By far the best golf course in the Mid-Coast!

As a worker and golfer here, Goose always delivers her best. My only nitpicks are: • When Maine enters into a drought, the course plays a little dry, as expected with most courses around the area. • The hours are not very consistent throughout the week, so a quick reference with the website or the clubhouse before making plans is worth considering. • The driving range is picked up during afternoon hours on Monday and Friday by workers (myself included) who aren't protected from flying golf balls. Players should be extra courteous during these times with respect to not hitting them. Also, the g…

Course is in pretty good shape. I give it one star because on their website it gives the appearance of being an 18 hole golf course. It's not. Its a 9 hole course and tee times are booked as if it's an 18 hole course. End result, it gets very backed up as golfers cycle thru and then attempt to tee off on the same 9 again while new groups are coming in to tee off on their first 9. After playing nine we came back around to play again and there was literally 4 groups waiting to tee off ahead of us. You can't load golfers onto a course as if its 18 holes when it's only 9!! We ended up only playing…
