In summary

Rockland Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere, with many highlighting the excellent condition of the greens and the welcoming clubhouse environment. Visitors appreciate the course's layout and the First Tee program for kids, although some mention that certain holes can be challenging due to length variations. A few reviews note the lack of water stations on the course and the occasional presence of goose droppings, but these are minor concerns compared to the overall positive experience.

Great old school track, very friendly staff in the restaurant and the pro shop (even with the power out!) And the course was in absolute great shape.

was in town for a wedding and decided to play a round. was not disappointed. Greens in amazing shape, course was well maintained and relatively challenging. only knock is some of the par 4s are very short and some of the par 3s are very long. The 9th, 10th, and 11th are all 200+yrd par 3s. when they are all in a row its kinda a bit much. dont let that stop you from coming and enjoying a great round with super friendly people in the pro shop, as a starter and even players!

Awesome course. Killer club house restaurant and bar. Super nice folks. In great shape. Cool layout. We ate apples right off a tree! I was super impressed with the conditions. Play this course. It’s wonderful. Say hey to the folks, they are too.

Overall a very pleasant experience. Here are some specific comments: - Pro Shop: Very friendly and quick and efficient. - Carts: Nice, clean and worked well. - Tees: Thin in many spots but level for the most part. - Fairways: Excellent. Lush. A quibble, but they were not smoothed before the turf was put down so there are lots of ripples, ridges, and dips which if you are driving a cart can snap your head if you are not careful. - Rough: Well kept and not deep at all. - Greens: Outstanding! 10/10. Minimal ball mark damage considering its a public course. - Bunkers: Well maintained with semi coa…

Very well maintained course and relatively* affordable for the area, other than the goose poop (hardly their fault) my one complaint is that there is no water available on the course anywhere for players. Bring an extra bottle or two

I only got to play it once early in the season and the course was very wet, the bogs made me think I was in Scotland on the first few holes. Don't get me wrong I had a great fun time playing. I'm sure if I got to play it in the dry it would be 4.5-5 stars but that will have to wait for my next trip up.
