In summary

Gracewil Country Club is appreciated for its affordability, friendly staff, and the availability of two 18-hole courses, making it a suitable choice for beginners and those seeking a casual golfing experience. However, several visitors have noted concerns about the condition of the cart paths, parking lot, and greens, as well as occasional slow pace of play and maintenance issues. Despite these drawbacks, the club remains a popular option for those prioritizing value and accessibility.

Fun course for what it is. Hard to beat $44 for 18 on the weekends. Not the most well groomed but that is to be expected. Pace of play was decent, luckily the group in front of me let me pass early. Easy course for beginners, a lot of room for error. Staff was kind. I plan to return for the price alone.

First impression is parking lot is awfule, nice clubhouse . Golf cart paths were some of the wost I have ever seen for the money they charge. Overall the golf course is rundown and not taken care off. Will not go back a 2nd time , there is MUCH nicer golf cources for the money I paid.

Just a slight degree above unplayable. Greens and fairways are in complete disarray. Greens have 1970’s deep shag feel of putting on a memory foam mattress. Cart paths are the worst I have ever seen.

While this course would generally be fine for beginner level golfers, the fact that they charge $26 for 9 holes is a complete scam. Any intermediate level or better golfer I strongly advise to stay away. The greens are terrible, you’d have better luck putting on shag carpet. The golf cart sounded like it could fall apart any moment, which is not surprising based on the state of the “cart paths,” if you could even call them that. I have to imagine the bugs will be horrible come mid summer, as the course is located in a swamp. Many better value options in the area.

I won a raffle and got two 9 holes with a cart certificates and had a great time! The service was good and the views were awesome 🙏 If you aren't picky about the fairways and greens and come to just have a good time this is a great spot, especially for beginners

Walking in to get to the clubhouse the liquid tar that they had where you park the golf carts did not have any pea gravel in it so my new golf shoes filled up with tar. Went into the clubhouse to have it recorded the young lady behind the counter said well I'm sorry. I think the driveway where you park the golf carts should be maintained a little bit better I am not happy with the results and I'm not happy with the tar on my new golf shoes

Really the golf course, but the green on the first 9 holes could use some work. Overall it was great golfing at a great price. I definitely recommend this course

The course is challenging and well cared for. Staff is kind and resourceful. It's a easy-going place to golf with two full courses to choose from.

If you’re looking to spend 3 hours through 9 holes, this is the course for you. The average golfer at gracewil has zero golf etiquette, a +54 handicap and plays their own ball in 4-8 man groups. These guys will wait for greens to clear from 300 yards out. The bad golf and stacked tee times make it unbearable.

The parking lot is a great representation of the actual course. Cart bottomed out on the cart “paths” a few times and sounded like it was going to fall apart. Always wet. Way too expensive for the condition of this place. Pick another place for any reason!

Great value for a local course that’s somehow still open despite the past ten years. Love to support local and for the price hard to beat if you like golf and are on the Westside.
