In summary

Grapevine Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, scenic views, and challenging yet enjoyable layout, offering 27 holes with distinct characteristics. The club's amenities, including a recently upgraded clubhouse, restaurant, and practice facilities, receive high marks, and the staff is generally described as friendly and accommodating. However, some visitors mention challenges with booking tee times, slow pace of play, and a strict cart return policy that can cut rounds short.

Love this golf course! 3 different 9’s at reasonably priced tee times. Cart service has hotdogs (big bonus) and saw them frequently (4x this round of 18) , which seems hard to come by at other courses. Great chipping/putting greens in addition to a nice driving range. Beautiful bar/restaurant with patio overlooking 1st tee box of Pecan & 9th green of Mockingbird.

Haven’t played out here in years since today and Wow. Clubhouse and restaurant received a huge upgrade. Staff was awesome and range area including the range balls were nice. Played Pecan and Bluebonnet and both were in great shape. Greens were quick. Overall great experience and can’t wait to get back out there.

Course itself was really nice overall, with nice fairways and plush greens. Clubhouse looked amazing and well put together. A few negatives about this place is the practice area, you have to use your own balls chipping causing a headache when you have others practicing, you don't know who ball is whose. The other downside the the constant reminder to bring carts in at 630 pm. With our 3 pm tee time, I'm going to try my best to finish especially coming out of town to play. Pace of play: 3 out of 5 Players who don't have golf etiquette need to learn to pick up the pace, last par 3 on pecan you h…

I have played this course many times. First and foremost yea it’s hard to get on here if you want to play you have to book 6 days in advance and that’s still no guarantee. But it’s worth the hassle in my opinion. 27 holes and each course is tons of fun. There are some challenging holes but for the most part any golfer will enjoy playing here. The greens and fairways are in great shape. The range and tee boxes are ok not great. The breakfast is delicious and persimmons is nice and spacious. Great place to grab a after round meal. Highly recommend playing here.

The golf course is well kept and maintained even through the winter. The food at Persimmons was exceptional and I highly recommend anything on the brunch menu and the lunch menu I prefer the burger or salad! The waitstaff and the girls who work here are so sweet and kind, they’re extremely polite and helpful and the manager is very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and celiac disease, they always accommodate us and we’ve had no issues.

What a pleasant facility and course in the Dallas area. The clubhouse area is insane. Nice pro shop. Good driving range. And three 9 hole set ups that make for any combination of 18 holes for a great and challenging round. Condition was phenomenal all around from great fairways and greens and tee boxes. Just awesome from tee to green with just a little residue of mowed grass clippings most likely because of recent rains. But it would be hard to find a nicer course in the area. The only drawback on anything related to this course is the pro shop staff. Super unfriendly and stiff. Just no engage…

What a great golf course! Beautiful drive up, absolutely scenic. Beautiful green course on one side and great lake view on the other. Texas at its finest! The course(s) are in great shape right now (July 2025) especially for it being peak summer condition- the staff maintains the greens well. The staff on and off the course are all very nice. The beer is cold and the food is good. The putting and chipping range is great for a practice session. The driving range is on the opposite side of the pro shop from the course looking into the trees and not into the golfers headed to play their round.…
