Hank Haney Golf Ranch at Vista Ridge receives praise for its challenging course layout, well-maintained fairways, and impressive clubhouse amenities, including a dining area and driving range. Visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the overall atmosphere, making it a popular choice for both casual and serious golfers. However, some criticisms include inconsistent course conditions, such as poorly maintained greens and tee boxes, and issues with pace of play and course management, which detract from the overall experience for some guests.

Oh boy what to say, Amazing. I was here for St. Patrick's day and they launched their new menu... wow. Great food, awesome staff. Went back for trivia, it was fun. Great beautiful clubhouse! Beautiful dining room with comfy chairs by the fire. Beautiful fountain outside. The range and practice green are great. BEAUTIFUL carts and fully loaded, even a complimentary towel. The course is BEAUTIFUL and a bit difficult, but hey it would be boring if it was easy. The proshop is nice, they have a gym and steam room (have to be a member), but it is a gorgeous facility here in Carrollton. Please please…

We used Coyote Ridge Golf Club as the venue for my daughter’s wedding reception in December (right before Christmas). It was an amazing experience!! Stacey, Bree, Jim, and chef Hector went above and beyond to make my daughter’s vision come true. They were open to our ideas and offered suggestions of their own; they were just as excited as we were to see it all come together. Our guests loved the space and everyone raved about the food! It was an amazing team to work with, they made us feel like family; we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our daughter and new son-in-law!

Hardest part of the course is navigating it, Haha. During my visits, the putting green has been faster than the greens on the course. But fun course and nothing too difficult.

Course in decent shape for a Dec round! Greens were in great shape, fairways and rough were so so! Slow round, almost 5 hrs! Atleast they had marshal trying to move things along! Two totally different 9’s, hole 9-11 are tough, back 9 gets narrow!

Perhaps we caught it at a bad time. Played 9/14/25 as visitors on a work trip. The course was in unbelievably bad condition. Many tee boxes were not mowed and very shaggy. Greens in bad shape, brown and pitted. This was a 30-40 dollar course max. To pay over 100 per player and it be in such condition, it was very disappointing. Cart would not work in reverse during our round, and that was the least of our concerns.

Save your time and money. Terrible course. They have grounds keepers working on the course while you are playing. They allow people to jump out and play where they want. If you like to smell a landfill you will love this course. Just a horrible experience.

Nice challenging course. Not worth $117 for a Sunday morning. Have played all over DFW. I’d put it in the 80-90$ bracket.

8/6/2023: First time playing here and it didn’t disappoint. Very challenging golf course and the high temps didn’t help much. Tee boxes: 8/10 Sand Bunkers: 4/10( some sand bunkers are being repaired so if you land in them you have to take the ball out. The ones that have sand were playing ok) Greens: 9/10 Fairways: 9/10 Cost: 7/10( a bit high, but they take care of the golf course) Driving range: 10/10

Friendly course for the average players. Definitely had a few holes that helped with the common slicer - this guy. Lol Great public course! Good food too! Currently they are going through renovations but can’t wait for it to be finished!

If you are long hitter, play from the tips because you will not be able to use driver on the Par 4. Green and fairway condition is good. Value for money.

Course has some unique holes and some elevation changes. New management has facility trending in a positive direction. The food is very good. Great service!

If you are not a member here I would find somewhere else to golf. Marshal doesn't do anything but drive around. No starter so no one makes sure who you are supposed to tee off with is correct. And when you call to complain they just say take your refund and leave so they must make enough money that out of towners can just either deal with it or leave. Horrible customer service
