I closed my membership in a corporate owned golf club just north of the metroplex about 6 months ago and was looking for a different attitude and atmosphere. That club had a nice course and decent practice area, but far too many members crammed into tee times 7 or 8 minutes apart and no marshals leading to 5+ hour rounds. In addition, tee times weren't available until 5 days before, so, in order to get one, members have to get on the site at 7am the day they open them up, then keep clicking "refresh" and hope for the best. Got food poisoning from the soup at their taco Tuesday buffet. Luckily almost no one else are it because there were no spoons set out and I had to ask for one. My mother had a bite but didn't finish it because she thought it tasted awful. I ate a bowl and vomited all night. We told the club and they promised a call from the chef that never happened.

Fantastic golf course 👌 Several courses have elements of aesthetics, or greens or layout. Few courses like Castle hills have all elements including fine bunkers and excellent food service. Very worthy private club and if you can definitely consider the membership 👍
