What People Say

In summary

Green Acres Golf Club is appreciated for its picturesque layout, friendly staff, and enjoyable amenities, including well-maintained greens and a welcoming clubhouse atmosphere. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance, such as patchy fairways, drainage problems, and ongoing construction, which can affect the overall playing experience. Despite these challenges, many golfers still find the course to be a good value and look forward to improvements.

If you want to play this course they should pay you to play. I would have given it a 1 star but they are trying to repair course in places. This use to be one of the best courses in Kokomo. Not sure what greens fees are but they should be reduced till this course is in much better shape

They have a lot under construction. Fairways don't have much grass, sand is as hard as dirt. With some TLC, this would be a great course. I look forward to seeing it when they are done with construction.

Had a blast playing golf here with friends! The course was a lot of fun and the greens looked great! It was picturesque with all of the fall colors. Tammy is so friendly and does an amazing job with all of the food as we have been here for a few events.

Great hidden gem! Extremely friendly greeting I received in the proshop. Seems like that's few and far between down here in Indianapolis. Great value, and course was in good condition. Played at the very end of summer & we're in somewhat of a drought. The ground was hard and dry, but most of the tee boxes were in solid condition, & no complaints at all from the greens. Every one was in good condition and rolled fair & had decent pace. Course has plenty of risk reward holes. The layout was fantastic, & each hole was memorable & different from the last. In addition, the electric carts had usb pl…

Green Acres Golf Clubhouse just scored a hole-in-one with their new pizza! The crust is like a fairway dream, and they threw in banana peppers for a surprise twist. It's so good, I almost teed off with joy. The staff? Friendlier than a golf ball in a sand trap. Swing by for a slice of the unexpected – it's a flavor game-changer! Keep up the great work!⛳🍕

I am a golfer of 45 years and have played all around our country. I have played this course for the first time in 1978 and it was a great new course. I played it again in 2009 and was not disappointed. However, I played today, September 4, 2018 and I am said to say the course has fell hard. The greens were the worst and I mean the worst greens I have ever been on. I only played 9 and after the first hole I diecided not to even putt! The course was in dis-repair and it is obvious the course needs much work. I am afraid more work than they will be able to put into it. It made me sad as I was loo…

Nice golf course! Green are well kept. Grass is always nice. All the regular amenities like golf carts for rent, food, small pro shop. Staff is pleasant and the food is good!

Beautiful layout, interesting doglegs and hills, wide open fairways. Friendly staff! But it seems like the groundskeepers are struggling. Lots of swampy water on the course, completely plowed cart paths and scalded, bumpy greens. I will play here again, though.

Way overpriced. Drainage is terrible, leaving a large percentage of the "fairways" either soggy, muddy or hardpan. Also, no signage to tell you where the holes are, so you're left to guess.

Can't wait for the course too dry out after all the rain. Staff is friendly and helpful. I was greeted as if I was an old friend. Felt welcomed from the first step inside the doors.
