Frankfort Commons Golf Course

Great rates, course is in decent shape, has some rough spots, but overall it plays pretty well. Played it again in June 2018. They are improving it all the time, looks better than it did last year!! Great staff! Played it again twice in early 2020. It's obvious that they are improving the course each year. Greens were great. Staff are friendly. Enjoyable! Reviewing again in 2025. 18 hole course tucked away in the "Frankfort Commons." There are some other attractions nearby, but its nestled in the center... not a ton of water, though there are some big mature trees!! Some holes were under repair in spots... greens are clean and fast!

Franfort Commons is a great public golf course in Frankfort IN. It is reasonably priced and in excellent shape. There are many different hole types with some elevation changes. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. They also have a simulator with indoor leagues

2025.5.10. Decided to try it out and got a Groupon for it. Really liked it! It is not a fancy course but quite interesting layout. It is situated in a tranquil environment, and the course is well maintained with quality fast greens.

On Fridays, they have cornmeal coated, catfish, french fries and coleslaw. We got orders of breaded mushrooms. All of it was excellent.

This course was just ok. We drove an hour to play this course. (Not uncommon, for us.) We can say we've played it, but probably won't play again.

This course has gone through some rough patches, however the last 2-3 years has seen a dramatic improvement, resolving drainage issues, signage, overall course maintenance has been great (kudos). We play this course almost every weekend so some of the improvements have been subtle while others dramatic. You can see the pride & effort put into its overall condition. Great course to play and pricing is well within anyone's budget.....Keep up the good work....

Pretty quick service most of the time. But can get busy when lots of Golfers come in. Decent food and they have lunch specials.

The course is in the best condition I've seen it in the last fifteen years. It has a very nice layout with a ton of mature sycamore, oak, Maple, tulip, and pine trees. Even though it is a short course, it can prove challenging if your shots are not placed properly.

Can’t be beat for the price. Great public course and great prices

Good layout, well maintained greens. First time playing here. Really good snack bar menu! Short course, some holes open, some narrow, good variety of challenges.
