In summary

The Trophy Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging yet fair layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking a quality experience. The course offers a variety of tee options and scenic views, enhancing its appeal. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the condition of the bunkers, occasional drainage issues, and slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

Great course. Per the other reviews, take extra balls. Course wasn't crowded. Greens were fast but in good shape. Fairways were in good shape. The rough was dry as most courses are this year. Multiple tee's give seniors a fighting chance. 🙂

Course was under water all over, fairways very slushy yet we were told that the course dry’s well, untrue. Play was very slow almost 5 hours to play Greens were nice people friendly!!!

Played The Trophy Club for the first time on a perfect day in September of 2025. Tees, fairways, and greens were in great shape. Course is challenging but fair with rolling hills, blind shots at varying times, and large greens that require precision ball placement to give yourself and chance for birdie or par. Pro shop is one of the best I’ve seen for a public course. On the downside, the sand traps badly need attention! Little attention has been paid to both fairway and greenside bunkers. I plan to play the course again in spite of the ragged bunkers!

The best finishing holes north of Indianapolis IMO. Very well kept, and the bunkers have come a long way since last year. Nicest tee boxes around. Especially for a very busy course.

Challenging links style course with undulating greens that roll at good speed.

It’s hard to justify $75 for a 5 1/2 hour round of golf when the bunkers look like this.

The greens, tee and fairways looked great. The bunkers need some work, there was very littke sand and they seemed to be poorly maintained but overall i had a great experience here and will definitely be back.

I played this course for the first time in about 10 years, I found it to be stellar condition, very well manicured and greens in exquisite shape and condition, I truly enjoyed playing there today. Looking forward to going back soon. Staff and management were also extremely friendly And made you feel like you belong there.

Amazing layout! Great value golf course. It rained, the course drains well. Good service. Practice range located right at the first tee can be challenging.

Course is in excellent shape. Greens are beautiful and fairways are great with all the rain we've had this past week. Sr rate during the week is reasonable! This is a must play course if you're in the area or just visiting!

This is a gem of a course. Tee boxes and greens are always in good condition. The course is SUCH a fun and good layout. Love the variety of difficult tee boxes to hit from. Forces you to play challenging but fair shots. Practice green and driving range are a nice touch. Could play here everyday of my life and still have fun. Great management and rates are super affordable for a course of this quality. This course has a legit 19th hole and it’s not a bar, which is always fun at the end of the round.
