In summary

Green Acres Golf Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordable rates, and a fun course layout that accommodates various skill levels. Many golfers find the wide fairways forgiving and the overall atmosphere welcoming. However, some visitors have reported issues with course maintenance, outdated equipment, and occasional staff rudeness, which can detract from the experience. Additionally, the course may not cater well to beginners due to a lack of clear signage and maps.

Go to place for my grandson and I. Friendly and courteous staff. Larry loves to work with newbie’s.

After putting across several rutts in the green the guy mowing the leaves told my partner he parked the cart too close to the green. He was just off the cart path to get on a level spot because the parking break didn't really work. Other than that great course

Hidden gem for all golfers. Fairways wide so balls easy to find if not hit straight. Course was challenging for all levels of golfers in our threesome. Staff very friendly and nice snack bar. Price is very reasonable. First timer and will be back.

Nice course, however it is certainly not beginner friendly. It was very difficult to tell where the Fairway was, and no holes provided a map so on our first playthrough we really had no idea where we were hitting. as a matter of fact we pulled off and let the people behind us go because we were that lost haha. Also sorry to the guy on the zero turn 😅 I have a bad slice...

Pay for 18 holes got told me didnt got charged another 70 plus dollars for no reason then got the cops called on us for no reason, the manager was very aggressive for no reason. Still very confused on what i did but in the other sense half the grass is dead, course is poorly maintained and straight from management I was told the grass is treated with harsh chemicals that are toxic to humans would not recommend playing there

This may have been the worst course I’ve ever played. Between the carts being out dated and not working half the time, to there being little to no grass on all of the fairways. Not worth the time and definitely not the money. You’d be better playing in a corn field.

Nice Affordable Course With A Fun Layout That Isn't Overly Demanding

Green Acres is a fun course. Know what to expect here, it's certainly not a country club experience. That said, it's well taken care of and usually pretty quiet. Extremely affordable, it's a fraction of other courses. Some of the staff is extremely nice, but there's one guy who's pretty grouchy. Overall, I love to play here, it's easy to score well!

Every time we go here the guy on the lawn mower yells at us. This time he said my husband was parked on the t box which he clearly wasn't. He wasn't able to see it correctly from his location. Another time the older guy accused us of ball dropping. My husband tried to explain that we play best ball because I can drive further than 125 yards but he just drove away.

If your just looking for a place to play it's worth checking out. It's pretty inexpensive, wide open fairways and the holes are pretty short. The greens were in excellent shape, but were running a little slow the day I played. The tee boxes could use some work, the fairways were spotty and the golf carts are pretty old. My travel coffee mug did not fit in the cup holders and the cart had a lot of rattles. There was a small snack area in the clubhouse, but I did not stop to see what they had to offer. There were a couple fridges with Gatorade, soda, water...etc, but no beer. Do not come expecti…

Sad because of the wet conditions the whole back 9 was cart path only. I totally understand that you have no control over the weather.
