In summary

Rich Maiden Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained fairways and greens, friendly staff, and affordable pricing, making it a popular choice for both beginners and seasoned golfers. The course layout is generally considered forgiving, with open fairways and a few challenging holes. However, some visitors have experienced slow pace of play due to overbooking and crowded conditions, and a few have noted issues with fast greens and inconsistent sand traps.

11/24/2025 - Course was in phenomenal condition for this time of year and was jam packed. 1-person, 18-hole tee time at 12:48PM. Though arriving early, was not able to get out on-time due to how busy the course was. Front 9 took just under two hours and was asked if I wanted to replay the front 9 due to crowding and/or time constraints (carts in by 5:00PM, which is generous considering sunset is well before), and was more than happy to. Greens ran fast, but again, was thrilled about the conditions and lack of leaves on the course. Great work.

Had a blast this morning. I was single and paired up but the starter let me go early and had private country club. Nice open course. If you make a mistake you got room to make a recovery shot. And I thought the greens where great due to all the rain night before. 🏌️‍♂️. As history guy. Love the old quarry with the bridge with the furnace.

New to golf, never played a round. Booked to learn with my buddy and shoot a round to get a feel for the sport. Was insulted by the club house for being new and rushed off the course by a leauge. Nowhere did it mention I was booking my tee time in a leauge. Awful experience and an insult to new golfers who wanna try something new. Starter is a disgusting person as well for insulting a new player.

Rich Maiden is generally in good shape anytime of the year. With all the play they get, it does get beat up, but comes back pretty nice. Always a good course to play if you need to shoot a score to pick you up after a bad round somewhere else.

My previous review for this course was 4 stars, but I had to delete it and post another one after having played this course about 20 times this year. The Good: The staff are usually pretty friendly. Recently they had an issue with their POS system, and the bartender gave me my drinks for free. Upon returning the next week with the money for the drinks that were given to us the week before, they refused our payment. Very nice bunch overall. The Bad: The greens. All of them. Whoever does course maintenance doesn't know how to manage green speeds. These greens run TOO fast, with pins next to e…

Fairly nice course. Good for the money. In very good shape this morning, 7/6/24. Open, no water, usually good pace of play. Nothing too difficult.

Extraordinarily friendly staff alongside a well maintained course makes this an easy 5 star. The course isn’t very long, but still has a few difficult holes scattered throughout. Our group had an awesome time playing here. Easily the nicest and most helpful starter I’ve ever come across on a golf course.

It is a quaint nice course. Nice Fairways, but a lot of the greens had way too many divots from golfers too lazy to fix them

Went on a Sunday afternoon and the pace of play was extremely slow - almost 5 hours to play 18. Waited 15 minutes to tee off at holes 2 & 3. Slow due to overbooking and a lot of teenagers goofing around on the course (blaring music, throwing clubs, running into each other with carts, etc). Called the clubhouse twice and nothing was done. Grounds weren't great either. Price was good but that was about it. This course is a "one and done" for me.

Booked a tee time a few days prior for $28 a person. Got a confirmation along with a receipt that had our total. We get there and prices are totally different and inflated. They tried blaming it on golfnow but we didn’t even use golfnow we booked under the rich maiden website. Do better!

Rich Maiden golf was a very pleasant experience. The pace of play was perfect, the staff handled the crowd easily with confidence and courtesy. We really had a good time playing there. They need one water hole!
