Green Garden Country Club

Green garden was more than a great place to host the Frankfort chamber of commerce golf outing! It was a day to relax & network with other business owners! Thank you for your hospitality & all the golf cart trips! If you’re looking for a chill course with beautiful views and awesome workers! This is the place!

Golf course itself was decent. First time encountering a ranger with no social skills. Pull up to the first area for a 10am tee time. Tell him we are checking in for 10am. We are in the middle of the pavement with carts on both sides so essentially blocking the path. He starts to look at the clipboard and we see people coming through. We tell him we’re going to move the cart forward - no more than 5 feet and he starts yelling like we’re going to run off. Anyway - we check in and we don’t even tee off for another 20 minutes. I had my bridal shower here today and it went so, so well! Terry & his staff were very accommodating & helpful. The breakfast buffet bar was super fresh & delicious! I would definitely recommend Green Gardens for a baby shower, bridal shower or any type of special event!

I do a lot of golfing. I traveled over an hour to get to this course, so I was hoping for some place great. I was not disappointed. The service in the pro shop was excellent and friendly. The carts are in great shape with GPS. they have a nice driving range, putting and chipping area. They have different courses. I played the blue course 💙. Green Gardens is near Frankfort, IL. This is real hidden gem. Pace of play was good. Course was fun and challenging. I had a great time. You should really check this place out and bring some friends. I will be returning again. Great place for an outing.

Used to love this place. Recent change of staff, and handling of events is a letdown. They RAN OUT OF CARTS!! but the office didn't know, so tee times were delayed, then told us event is 2 hours behind so we would have to wait to play gold course. No communication between staff and office, also demeanor of office staff leaves alot to be desired. They put everyone on blue course so you had to wait around 15 minutes to tee off every hole. Beautiful course but most likely won't be coming back again. Update 16 holes took 5 and a half hours.

I had my wedding here in 2017. Laura the manager made it a great experience. We got married in December so she decorated the room with a Christmas tree by the fireplace, which was on, along with red napkins included, Christmas lights, etc. Had a great time. The place was affordable. Will book the room again soon. The golf course is beautiful and nice for photos or playing a round.

Super player friendly with big fairways and greens. Miss the fairway and pay the price! Great value in the Chicago area, located just west of I-57 and south of I-80. One of the top warmup & practice range amenity in the State of Illinois. Rain, to windy or cold? Indoor Dome practice area as well! Highly recommend for all levels of play! Enjoy!

Great place with 3 nice courses in good condition. It’s not too expensive and it’s rarely crowded. They also have the most comfortable golf cart seats ever!! The only downside is it’s at least 40 mins driving from Chicago.

The Bears Backer Sundays event is awesome! They have numerous golf, food, and raffle options. And the remodel is beautiful. I just wish they had a book for purses. Lol #girliegirl

Has really turned into a beautiful course. I love playing the gold course. The links course was excellent. Always great staff. They could use some more help in the restaurant to make it more efficient. Food was good though.

My favorite golf course yet. Course is well maintained and beautiful! Staff were very friendly. Make sure you stop in and have lunch. Holly was our server and really adds to your lunch experience. Not to mention the Caesar Salad with chicken that is the best. Dining room is beautiful with memorabilia photos of the most iconic celebrities. Bob Hope, Phil Donahue, Wayne Newton and many more. You’ll leave with smile seeing some of the all time greats. Really a great way to start your day.

We were able to tee off on time finished in less then 4 hours. Course was in great shape. Cart girls were awesome. Food in restaurant after was excellent.
