In summary

Greencastle Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout with significant elevation changes, and scenic setting featuring mature trees and wildlife. Visitors appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the comprehensive amenities, including a driving range and the Fireside Pub. However, some guests have noted issues with membership cancellation policies, course maintenance during off-peak seasons, and occasional miscommunication from staff.

Well, I thought it was a great course. $70 with cart per person. Lots of hills. Greens looked well kept. Good amount of parking. I do gotta say. BEWARE OF HOLE 10. The tee off is past the driving range. Upon arriving, we were met with a hail storm of golf balls landing all around us. Some balls made it halfway down our fairway. Wish I had brought a helmet.

Absolutely outstanding! Played here multiple times now, and every visit just gets better! This 18-hole championship course is beautifully carved into the rolling hills, with stunning views, mature trees, ponds, wetlands, and plenty of wildlife that make you feel like you're playing in a natural paradise. The layout is challenging yet fair, including elevation changes, doglegs, blind shots, and memorable holes like the signature Hole 3 with the waterfall carry. The greens were fast and true, fairways in pristine condition, and the course was in excellent shape from tee to green. The staff is…

I like this course alot, has some challenging holes to navigate. Driving range avaliable,chipping/putting green. I love the shack where you can stop by to grab a drink and a hotdog on your way to the next hole. Overall great course to play.

Beware the monthly membership I was misled on the flexibility of the twilight membership being told that they were understanding of changes if a cancellation was neccessary. Fast forward having the membership for 6 months I experienced a move and requested a cancellation due to this restricting my ability to play. It took over a month to finally hear back from the proshop with multiple calls, speaking in person, and an email. Once I did hear back, it was callus, not understanding, and very "by the book" and this is what you signed up for.

I had such a great experience here yesterday. I loved the course and will try to make it back next year. A bonus is the elevation change throughout the course. Makes for some fun cart riding as well. Staff was great. I can’t say enough great things. The greens were faster than fast on a sunny day. Keep that in mind.

Always one of my favorite courses in Franklin County. Well kept in every aspect! Tee boxes and fairways in good shape. Greens are always beautiful and challenging. I play here 4-6 times a year and usually in a tournament or two. Tough course and usually see some wildlife. One of my favorites!

The course is in great condition. Some of the ruffs were a little long, but they were in the process of mowing. They have a little bit of crabgrass in place, but overall, the course is in great condition. I try to make the trip to play the course once a year and it never disappoints. If you want to visit the Fireside Pub, make sure to check the hours, We played on a Tuesday, and the pub was closed. ⛳️

Originally left a 1 star review due to negative experiences with the gentleman in the club house checking us in and not communicating clearly. However the course was in fantastic shape. Emily from management called me to discuss my concerns and was very polite and rectified the situation. That being said, I have changed my review to 4 stars because Emily went out of her way to contact me , apologize, and fix the concerns previously expressed. Will be going back to play again! Thanks

Better hope you land in some type of grass or weeds cause there’s not much of it around, greens are in horrible shape looks like the cups haven’t been changed in months, $70 !? Wouldn’t even pay $20 had to be one of the worst maintained courses around

First time at this golf course. Excellent shape. You have to play it more than once to find the proper sight lines and not doing so can get your in trouble. Greens are very nice, tough to read but putt well. I am back tomorrow for more chances to learn and improve my game. A significant amount of elevation change with a slope of 120 where a flat course in Florida is also 120. Greencastle is more realistic and a joy to play. The people are gr eat. Thomas, the head pro is easy to converse with and knew my name when I showed up. And I met Vince, the started, when I and my guest approached the fir…

This is my favorite course. Lots of hills, lots of water, lots of traps, and interesting layouts. I walked the course but apparently it is not common because the hill to the seventh hole is steep and the hill up to the green on the eleventh hole is steep. It is a long walk between one and two and then ten and eleven. The driving range is grass or mats and you hit into a lake! And the prices are reasonable.
