What People Say

In summary

Conocodell Golf Club is appreciated by many for its affordability and suitability for beginners or those looking for a quick 9-hole round. The course's friendly atmosphere, highlighted by a welcoming golden retriever and staff member Jim, is often praised. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of the tee boxes and fairways, as well as inconsistent customer service experiences, especially related to interactions with the clubhouse staff.

This is the worst course I have ever played. Used Golf Now and it was labeled 18 holes, Arrived at course and it’s only a 9 hole. Lady at counter told us we can’t play hole 7 because they are turning it into a driving range. They took hole 8 and made it a par 4 and added a par 3. The grounds are horrible. Not one tee box is good grass, nothing mowed. Greens are a mess to say the least. Oh, fairways are like hitting out of a dirt field as hard as concrete. They have ball washers with no water. We tee’d off at 10am and on hole 2 and 4 they still had large sprinklers going that you had to avoid.…

This course was a pleasant surprise. I really didn't know what to expect with the mixed reviews, but I'd put it on par with most other local places any day of the week. Great rates, close to home and folks were nice and fun to talk with. Will definitely come back.

Such a reasonable price for such a nice course. The golden retriever that welcomed us made this place an easy 10/10

A decent golf course for beginners and not far from Chambersburg. Quiet and not too busy. Tee boxes are in poor condition and not watered. Have a hard time getting a tee in the ground. Greens are fairly decent, always a bit slow. New carts seem nice but may be reserved for league, they always give me the old ones. The owner is a nice fellow and is accommodating and was quick to remedy a mistake made with tee times. My interactions with the employee in the clubhouse have not been great. She is usually not at the counter and is not in a hurry to wait on customers. Her tone and attitude is a bi…

Great course for a quick 9. All the greens are in good shape and the fairways are pretty good as well. If you want to squeeze in a quick game, I highly recommend Conocodell. You can’t beat their price, and Jim is a great dude to talk with!

Learned here as a child and brought my son to do the same. I understand it’s nothing special and I didn’t expect 5 star service. I walked in the door with my 11 year old son and 15 year old daughter and was tripped by a dog laying at the entrance. Owner asked me if the kids we’re supposed to be off school today, as if that was her business. And it’s summer vacation anyway. Then reluctantly got out of her recliner from watching TV to check me in after a moment of awkward silence. I explained to her that just me and my son were playing and my daughter was just walking along to watch. She wanted…

Course was decent. I had not done my research and took a hot deal off of Golf Now for 18 holes and a cart. There is only 9 holes here, and their score card is just the same 9 holes twice. The course was not in great shape, but it was the end of winter. For a beginner or someone looking to get a quick 9 in, this is a great course.

Just started going to this crouse. Not sure if we will return or not, just because of the level of service we have received over and over. Let me start with the Lady who works there maybe she is the owner, not sure. Everytime we have went now about 7 times she has been rude and totally will ignores you as she is watching TV. However the gentleman who works there is the opposite very nice and friendly we met him once. The crouse I guess for the price is okay. The tee box are a mess. The trash cans on the crouse overflowing. The restroom are dirty. I really hate giving my money to someone that f…

We drove over an hour to play golf. We prepaid with Supreme Golf and when my husband showed the email to the lady at the counter she was very rude and would not honor the prepaid round. She stated that they never get paid from them. In return my husband stated they had already charged our card. She did not care better for us to be out the money. They are listed on the site and we have booked at other courses on the Supreme Golf site and never had an issue.

Worst greens I’ve ever played. In Fairway grass is patchy and ground is hard as a rock. Thought it was worth the low price until the lady inside over charged me and wouldn’t fix it. When we walked in she had a vape and was watching tv.

I have not played at the course yet but I did walk half the course and physically handicapped and the gentleman named Jim from the clubhouse was kind enough to allow me to walk half the course this weekend I plan to play a full nine holes something about this place really made me feel comfortable I don't know if it was just gym or the atmosphere around the clubhouse I really felt as if I was at home I want to make this my favorite place to go thank you Jim
