In summary

Greenwood Golf Course is frequently praised for being an affordable and welcoming option for beginners and families, offering a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. Many appreciate its well-maintained greens and the convenience of playing without needing a tee time. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the fairways and the pace of play, as well as occasional inconsistencies in customer service.

This is the greatest beginner golf course in our area ( debatable, I get it..., fair constructive criticism at the bottom). For the price, forgiveness, friendliness and awesomeness, this course allows for some golf skill growth, or just some good old golf fun. No tee times are a blessing and curse for sure, 9 holes can be 60 minutes, or 3 hours, and that's the what it is. 1 of the only places you can golf solo, that alone is amazing if you like to read a book, listen to a podcast, eat a sandwich or meditate on the benches between the slow shots. Deceptive course in that you can do well here…

Its only a 9-hole course but the holes are long. Patty the host is very personable and easy to chat with.

This course is not going to be a ivy ridge or glen oak course. It is a great course however for playing family's and beginners as well as avid players looking to improve their game for a great price. It is a great atmosphere with great staff. Greens are a little slow but kept in great shape. The cost for 9 holes is amazing for the quality of this course but the real hidden part lies in the season pass. For 350 dollars you can play all season long and play in a few tournaments as well. I personally just bought the season pass for the second time this year and last season I played every day and…

Course is great for beginners. It is very inexpensive and not difficult. I’ve been going here for years and it’s fun. If your looking for a pga course go somewhere else, but if you want to hang out for a bit and have some fun come here.

Go with the right expectations and it is a very enjoyable course for a quick 9 holes. Greens are a bit slow but seem to be well taken care of. There is not much rough anywhere and the fairways do tend to have some weeds, but again, for $13, you could do much worse.

It's a 9 hole golf course, it's ok. The greens are always very well hydrated, almost too wet. the rest of the course is usually very dry, but for what you pay it's fine

Nice course. Not to expensive. Golf carts are only a few dollars. Great way to spend an afternoon. They have beers and water for sale. Nice little place.

It's really not a good golf course. Its more like a semi-mowed field of weeds that they dug 9 holes in and called a golf course. Boring layout, no hazards, and greens that haven't been cut in days. Stay away.

Honestly, not a bad course at all. The woman working inside was kind of rude. We brought a lot of business there on a rainy day and it seemed like it was an issue for her to help us
