In summary

Hartford Golf Club is generally appreciated for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and inviting clubhouse with good food and drink options. The staff is often praised for being helpful and attentive, and the course offers a pleasant setting with nice views. However, some visitors have experienced issues with the pace of play, especially on busy days, and have encountered occasional service delays at the restaurant and with on-course amenities.

I’ve course but beware of the first tee. The range is left of the first tee so you will see range balls on the first fairway. You might want to look back too just in case a ball comes flying your way lol. A few came my way as I waited for the group in front of me to finish. Nothing came close to me as I was in the middle but a few did fly my way. Overall the fairways were nice and cut and the touch was almost as low as the fairways. The greens were a little fast but manageable. There were some fake foxes out there but it doesn’t seem to scare away the geese’s.

Overall fun course. The 'Dude's Clubhouse' has great food and drink selections upstairs and bar room downstairs. The pro shop and check-in is behind the clubhouse, it offers a great selection of all golfing needs and enjoyment. The practice putting green is in-between the pro shop and clubhouse which is pretty much in the way of everyone coming and going. The driving range is off left of the first tee, anything goes left off Hole 1 and you are probably SOL finding it while dodging people practicing. The Tee-Boxes overall are flat and not too beat up. With no obvious stakes marking distances, h…

We were there volunteering for a golf outing for Community Projects for Seniors. Staff was amazing! Course in excellent shape from what I could tell. Staff at the Pro Shop was very helpful. Dinner after the outing was excellent! Bartenders and wait staff were very attentive. We have been there for a fish fry on other occasions. The food was excellent as well! Beautiful view of the course from the dining room.

The food at the restaurant was egregious. I had a dip sandwich. The beef was dried out and had an appearance that looked like it sat under a heat light for many hours, the flavor was terrible. The au jus provided for dipping the sandwich lacked flavor. The couple that dined with us said their food was so terrible that they had no desire to come back. When we addressed it with our waitress all she said was she was sorry we had a bad experience. I asked if we could discuss our experience with a manager, the waitress said he was not available at the moment.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this course. The course ranger was unnecessarily rude, making the round feel rushed and uncomfortable rather than enjoyable. Tried to grab food at the turn—called ahead to avoid delays—but still had to wait when I got there. When the food finally came out, the hot dog was lukewarm and the bun was so hard it was practically inedible. For the prices they charge, I expected better service and a basic level of hospitality. Considering it was Father’s Day and extremely busy per the ranger rushing us, you would expect my cart girls along with bar staff to…

Pretty good course with a clubhouse and proshop. Greens were a little slower but quality wise was overall pretty good. Fixes were in place in the rough spots and locals were saying cleanup was improving. Roughs overall were all little long and fairways ok but were played hard. Decent proshop and clubhouse area. Rates were not terrible. Yardage marking on the course was not there enough and wish at least the carts wouldve had gps due to lack of stakes. Carts in general were not bad....but put gps on them if you won't have good markers. Still quality decent and/or up and coming so leould like to…

We had a group of 14 guys . At the turn we wanted to get a bite to eat. There was NO food served. The beer cart girl was not seen once on the second nine holes of golf. We were told that this was the busiest day so far. Only one girl at the bar . We asked for something to eat. She said she would have to make them. You can’t wait for food when you’re golfing. Bad service overall. But the course was great.

It was a dudes date night, so my oldest son Alex Neuman and I decided it was high time we tried Dude's Clubhouse at Hartford Golf Club for #Dinner. The service was fantastic, Stevie Indermuehle was on top of her game tonight. I had the baked cod and garlic lime shrimp with potato pancakes, yum!!! Saved room for dessert, the French silk pie was delicious and key lime pie is in the fridge for a late night snack. Thanks for the #greatfood and service. Stop in and give them a try.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience at this golf course on Father’s Day was extremely disappointing. What should have been a fun and relaxing round turned into a frustrating experience due to the staff’s attitude and the unrealistic pace of play expectations. Despite it being one of the busiest days of the year, the course was enforcing an unreasonably fast pace that just didn’t match the crowd size. We were constantly being rushed, even when there was nowhere to go because of backups ahead of us. And when we let a group play through we were too far behind this faster playing gr…

Went on a Tuesday morning (non holiday) was rushed from the start. We (2 people) Had a tee time for a certain time and came early. Checked in at the clubhouse 10 minutes before our scheduled time and right away felt rushed. Guy behind the desk was saying we're up now and to hurry as they are busy. We're only playing 9 holes and this was our first time to the course so I asked if we could pick which 9 holes we could play. Wanted to do the back nine instead of the front 9 so it wasn't all backed up. Guy said no they are busy and we cant do that. Ok. So we got the cart went and got our equipment…

Somewhat basic but extremely solid of course. Pro: very well maintained with great fringes and incredible greens. Ball cleaners and benches at almost every hole. Driving range putting in pitching greens Con: Not a ton of elevation or anything particularly challenging except for a couple of water holes, Fairways can be patchy. Overall a pretty fun solid course especially at a discounted rate. Wouldn't pay more than 40$

Golfed there 2023-04-28. Greens were in great shape for early season golf. Some wet spots affected cart traffic. Overall a very nice course. Very walkable. I think I would be a member if I lived a bit closer.
