The owners were generous enough to host our high school graduation party at their location. It was a beautiful day and the staff really went above and beyond for our family. Chairs, tables, and a tent were included in the special day and Mark made it so easy to plan and execute the event. He was flexible and attentive to our needs. A really positive person and a really positive experience for a new graduate!!

Since new ownership came in a couple years ago this place has really turned around. Its a great place to bring learners (thats still the heart of the new owners) and i love bringing my 10 year old to come and play - but the course actually plays like a real course now! Greens are soft and course is kept up well. Driving range is also reasonable and a great place to come and work on your game.

Went to the driving range the first week they opened after the winter thaw. It's a nice place if you just want to hit balls. There's also a 9-hole par 3 course. Be careful of the soft spot in the driveway in front of the office. A SUV got stuck there as I was leaving.

With the new ownership, they’ve managed to turn the course around. It was rough a few years ago, but the new owners cleaned it up and have taken care of the course. Greens, tee boxes and fairways are much more well managed. They did raise the rates, I imagine to cover the cost. But with the current rates, and the cost of an annual membership, it seems to be a decent deal for what you get. Good customer service as well.

Love this course! The new owners are welcoming , respectful and professional. My husband and I visit this course often last summer, each time the greens improved.they have put time and effort into making this a quality course. We plan on getting a membership this year. Thank you Havana Hills.

New ownership there and now you actually feel welcome to golf. Pretty amazing how just being kind to customers upon meeting them makes such a difference. Was lectured by the previous owner about how no alcohol was allowed on the course for five minutes despite me not asking about alcohol, nor did I even have any. Looking forward to how new ownership improves upon the area, and already one of the no-brainer changes they made is they now take credit cards!

Wife and I really enjoy this course. It's pretty short and moves around itself pretty nicely. The kind of course that doesn't feel like it needs a motorized cart, but they have them if you need one. After our first round the owner noticed we were sharing the same set of clubs and informed us that we needed to have own sets. He then pointed to a set that was donated to the course and said we could have them free of charge! Needless to say, we've always been very kind, appreciative, and respectful to him, and he's treated us the same in return. Simple, straightforward operation. Simple, strai…

This nine hole course used to be kind of fun and a good way to teach beginners. I normally would never review anything but there is zero upkeep, the greens are unplayable and 95% dirt. The yardages are wacky and poorly painted, almost zero signage. I know it's just a nine hole par three course and not looking for more than killing time with a beginner but this course isn't worth any of the time we just wasted. 13.00 a piece and we had to have cash, NO CREDIT. Oh and the worker dude wasn't super either.

I arrived at the driving range at 7:30 pm on Friday, 18th of May. To my surprise, the owner had closed the course and driving range. There was still 2 hours of daylight available to practice and for the course to be open for business. I approached the owner near the driving range and I asked if I could hit a bucket of balls? The owner responded I had to make it quick. I didn't understand why he was so reluctant to make additional revenue. He told me twice he didn't need the money. I found the owner to be very rude and unappreciative. His poor customer service was towards me shocking. I will no…

Terrible owner very rude he wanted to charge kids for hitting golf balls on the driving range and charge 3 kids under 11 just to go with there dad on the course. Then my other son tried to get his 35 dollars back and wouldn’t give it to him and they didn’t golf. Terrible ripoff hopefully you happy Kevin you just lost 7 customers. Feel sorry for the wife used to work with her at retail store very nice lady

I found the owner to be very rude and grumpy. His poor customer service towards me and the family was shocking and completely unnecessary. He wanted to charge us additional fees for the minor divots me and the family made at the tee box. I laughed (assuming he was joking) we asked us not to return to the course. NO problem with that! We will not be returning to Havana Hills. Customer service is severely lacking.

If I could give Havana Hills and the owner Kevin no stars I would and the ones that gave his place and him five stars quite frankly is UNBELIEVEABLE to me. I used to be a member until he scolded me for hitting too many balls when there wasn't another golfer in sight (no need to wonder why),so he told me not to come back. Go to Straight River Golf course in Faribault, now they know how to treat their members and the owner (Joe) is super nice unlike Havana Hills owner!!!! He doesn't deserve to own a golf course the way he treats his customers and I don't know how he stays in business with asking…
