In summary

Owatonna Country Club is highly praised for its beautiful natural surroundings, well-maintained golf course, and excellent service from friendly and attentive staff. The club is also noted for its versatile event spaces, making it a popular choice for weddings and community events. However, some visitors have experienced issues with food quality and availability, and there have been occasional concerns about the exclusivity of dining access for non-members.

The weather was awful so it wasn't a great experience but, compared to my home course, the fairways and greens were not nearly as nice as what I'm used to. The fellow in the pro shop was great but had no control over the external conditions. I would like to play the course again in better weather.

Wonderful dining experience. A special menu in honor of Executive Chef Jason Glad's birthday was superb... Tomahawk Steak, two pound lobsters, bone-in prime rib, and more. Everything was great. Well Done.

Wonderful food, wonderful staff! We were well taken care of last week after the day's training seminar at Wenger/JR CLANCY. It's a shame I couldn't visit this place during the latter part of Spring or during the Summer months. I imagine the property looks amazing when everything is lush and green. I hope to be able to visit this place again!

Love this place. I have attended many events here and even rent it out once per year to host my own event. They are friendly and very responsive. There is a wide variety of menu items for events and several ways of setting up the room for large or small groups. Tech is also great.

We were in the other day with some friends who are members and had Jennifer as our server. She was absolutely fantastic! She was attentive and very friendly. We're actually considering becoming members due to what a positive experience we had. She is definitely an asset to your club :)

I went here for a charity event. The architecture and feel of the space was pretty nice, like an mid-upscale event space that you would expect. The seating was generous. The food served that night was just OK. Seems like a great place for weddings and other community events. Probably the best space in Owatonna.

Quite a few menu options weren't available because they had run out - pretty disappointing. Our table ordered the ahi tuna appetizer, which was average - tuna was served over a bed of coleslaw which was over-dressed and lacked flavor. I ordered a salad, and some of the grapefruit segments had tough membrane on them (others were properly separated). Someone in the group ordered fried bluegill, which was a good portion and tasted good. Did appreciate the free dessert for a birthday. Will definitely consider coming back again, maybe after exploring other options in the area.

We had a Christmas party there Friday night the 20th of January. Food was cold green beans weren't cooked there were raw, I had a hair in my rice, beef was under cooked, and I had two drinks one had food on the side of the glass and the other one had mold in it. The banquet manager was very rude when I found the hair in my food. If I could give a lower score I would. The worst part the head chef yelled at one of his line crew to straighten up the beans and the sous-chef made a comment while everyone was in line getting there food they where very unprofessional I will never be back not even for…
