Beautiful setting with pretty fountain and ponds. Quick play. But the greens right now aren't in great shape. Nov '25

This is a 9 hole executive course that's probably best suited to mid & high HC players. The holes aren't especially long and the greens are a decent size, and there are a couple of tee shots over water. The greens could be better, but at $11 for 9 holes it's decent value. I'm not entirely sure where you're supposed to park, as Google Maps took me to a road alongside the middle of the course. I suggest parking in the Saddlebrook recreation centre and using the underpass to the Hawkes Bay starter hut.

If the greens were in better shape, the rating would be a 4! Beautiful course with two water challenges.

2/7/25 - walked the course but played from green tees making it the shortest course I’ve played. Nothing but wedges but still fun. Greens & fairways were above average.

My Husband & I golfed there today (Oct 29th) The starter 'Tom' was rude, abnoxious & condescending. We arrived 6 mins before our tee time due to unforeseeable circumstances. They way he spoke to us was unwarranted. If he hates his job that much he should quit. So much for " Friendliest Hometown!!!!

First time here. All par 3 holes but still challenging. Some tee boxes and greens could use some work.

Well it was cold so I took some time to thaw. I really thought the greens were in great shape. The tee boxes were ok. I enjoyed our day at Hawkes Bay. I would recommend this course for the beginner to mid range golfer. The course gets tougher at the end.

Lovely course, but the greens are a little rough. At least that is my excuse...

This is one of my favorite courses, but the greens have gone to hell. What a shame. Keep working on them to bring them back!
