In summary

El Santiago Golf Club is highly regarded for its well-maintained and enjoyable executive course, featuring oversized holes that cater to beginners and those looking to improve their short game. The course is described as fun and easy to navigate, with friendly staff and a social atmosphere, particularly at the pickleball courts. However, some experienced golfers find the course too simplistic and repetitive, noting that it may not provide enough challenge for advanced players.

My wife and I love playing El Santiago. As new golfers it is a more enjoyable round. From the green Tees you can work on your short game or move back to black for a reasonable distance. The oversized holes are easier to hit, but I can still manage to 3 putt.

The Pickleball court has to be the most social & kind group of folks you ever want to meet. Also lots of really good. Players

This was a fun little executive course in The Villages of Florida. It was in pretty good shape and the longest hole on the course was about 160 yards. It was a great course for beginners or the elderly as it had the oversized holes on it. I would play it again because I thought it was a lot of fun but I am not sure my playing partner would.

Pretty nice course. A little wet in spots but typical of most courses. Very clean, we'll run, good pace, not too fast or slow.

Not my thing. This is an experiment in The Villages with large holes. The first five holes were basically identical. Boring! Great for beginners but did not enjoy it.

Played El Diablo, pleasant staff, fun course. The course is very well maintained. Greens all same place, learn how slow and you'll score better.

First time I played this course and I got 2 pars on my own. I'm not very good but it was a great course and I had a wonderful time.

Perfect for beginners and for my 10 and 12 year old boys. Oversized cups and fairly straight and forgiving fairways.

Without a doubt it's the easiest executive golf course I've ever played from the black tees. 1st 7 holes one can hit the green with no more than a wedge.

Fun little course that has a different challenge at every hole. Today the course played fast.
