In summary

Heritage Golf Club is praised for its well-maintained course, challenging layout, and beautiful setting, with greens and fairways often highlighted as being in excellent condition. The clubhouse and staff receive positive remarks for their friendliness and service. However, some visitors express concerns about high costs, additional fees, and occasional slow pace of play, which can detract from the overall experience.

We came here on my birthday; it was our first time ever and I chose it because it had positive reviews on Google and it looked lovely. When we got inside, it wad nearly empty. In fact, we were greeted by the chef, who commented on the tiara i was wearing and kindly lit the fireplace for us. The dining room--with the beautiful fire going-- was and charming and the views lovely. I ordered brawl sprout appetizers and a club sandwichand fries. The brussel sprouts were slightly overcooked but the sandwich and fries were good. When the hostess came to give us our check, she gave us an almost sheepis…

Great facility, good range and putting area. Many public golf courses are experiencing too much waiting time but Heritage is still pretty good at keeping its pace. Very nice club house, good food. This is a pretty challenging course, lots of bunkers and water, enough to intimidate those beginners, so bring some extra balls. Really enjoy my time here. Reach out to me if you are new in town and want to play a round.

The course was undergoing some pretty serious bunker repairs (hole #7 was condensed from a Par 4 to a Par 3). Outside of that, extremely satisfying layout with spectacular greens. There's more elevation changes than what you can see from the photos. #16, #17, #18 are wonderful closing holes (panorama is of #16, short par 4, sharp right to left that is way downhill). #17 is a simple par 3 with #18 being a gettable par 5 with water all down the right. The greens take the cake, super consistent all day long.

This facility is known for golf. However, I was there with my fellow Marines celebrating our 250TH Birthday of our Beloved Corps. There was plenty of parking. The outdoor areas were cleaned and just presented as what a golf ⛳️ grounds should look like. Inside, the facility was spotless. No foul odors were detected. The bar area was immaculate. The staff were very friendly. The food was served at the appropriate temperatures and beverages were not watered down.

Place is overpriced - not maintained properly, forcing people to hit off the grass in the rain at the range even though mats are available. Continuously forcing scheduled tee times off the back 9 to “squeeze “ them in. Truck was broken into in the parking lot- no cameras “we don’t secure the parking lot” and continued to laugh. $20 to hit range balls is crazy. Always Understaffed to the point that’s the normal response from the staff when approached with a complaint.

Lovely round of golf with The Don. Beautiful layout that goest most left for the first half and a couple dogwood rights near the end. All building up to an amazing 18th hole across the pond and then it’s back to the clubhouse.

Was disappointed in this course. Paid $105 for the ranger to chase us around all day and tell us to hurry. He must’ve stopped us 5 times and after that we were so rushed it kind of ruined things.

We attended last evening for my Dad's 90th birthday celebration. We were a table of 9 guests and unfortunately the restaurant (which is a local place for our parents) gave us a brand new waitress. She was over her head with all of the orders and how to take appetizer orders and drink orders. And when it came time to serve the wine orders she had no idea how to pour a glass of wine and made a giant mess pouring the wine into glasses. All of us made the most of it and just celebrated like we normally do, as a family. We just would suggest that next time they take care with who they give waitress…

All I went for was to visit the driving range. $17 for a bucket of 80 balls is the highest I pay at anywhere I go. Clubhouse looked nice.

It’s an awesome golf course. It’s probably in the best shape I’ve ever seen it. 3% credit card fee!! This is bad on so many levels!! It’s already an expensive private course to play. When this is force on me I take it out of a tip. That’s the only power you give me. As I’ve said in other reviews, evaluate your business then charge accordingly. DON’T charge your loyal customers FEES. Dealing with cash is by far more dangerous/costly for a business than credit cards. I would have paid with a debit card if I was told no fee for that. It’s poor business practice. Management should know better.

Layout is extremely playable and rewarding at the same time. The perfect mix of risk reward without punishing you with a lost ball if you strategize wrong or mishit and you will have to play with a strategy. The most fun I’ve had planning tee shots in a long time without the risk of them disappearing. Enjoyable for lower and higher handicap players. The greens are superb for a public or private course I’ve played many private courses that wish their greens rolled this pure. The type of course you can play consistently wished I lived in the area to be a member. The clubhouse and customer servic…
