I had my wedding at the Country Club at Wakefield Plantation one month ago. Of all of the decisions I made during wedding planning, choosing to have our reception here with Courtney Tatum was hands down the best decision I ever made!! Courtney was absolutely incredible to work with. She was accommodating, quick to respond to all of my questions, and went above and beyond my expectations. We got married at Wakefield and had such a great experience!!! Courtney was so helpful throughout the planning process. We also had so many compliments on the food. The steak was my favorite but everything was delicious from the hors d'oeurves to the main course!! I recommend Wakefield to everyone!

We had our daughter's wedding here in June. Courtney was the best. She helped us out so much and did a great job. The food was amazing and the service fantastic. Highly recommend!

The staff is amazing and the golf carts are A++. I’m just a photographer so I can’t comment on the course itself but it sure does photograph well!

I love this place. I have been a member for 20 years. I use the gym almost every day, the tennis courts (weather permitting), and have conducted a few large gatherings/parties. The people make any business, this one is no different. * Michael the GM is one of a kind. * Davis - My gosh, how terrific is he. I LOVE hearing him on the courts firing up the kids or just being him! * Kyle - Excellent. I have had fun times playing tennis w/ him. * Natalie - Wow, wow. She helped me arrange one of the best, most meaningful suprise birthdays parties at the pool area. She is terrific.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation in June and it was absolutely perfect! Courtney Tatum and her team did an outstanding job with the reception. The room was beautifully decorated, the food was incredible and the bartenders were fun and engaging. Courtney was a joy to work with and went out of her way to make sure the day was perfect and everything stayed on schedule. I highly recommend Courtney, her team and The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation for any special event.

I used this venue for my wedding this past weekend and I was in awe at the level of genuine kindness and effort shown by all the staff especially Courtney. It could not have been a more perfect venue to host our family and friends. Also, the food is an absolute 10/10!!! It blew all the guests away. Could not recommend enough.

Went to play golf here and i didnt know there was gonna be so much racism. After I got over the way i was treated the greens where terriable and the staff even worse. I came as a member guest so thank god i dont pay to golf here every month.

We had a fabulous experience holding our wedding at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation. We especially appreciated Courtney Tatum, the director of catering and events, who is phenomenal to work with! She helped us plan our wedding in less than six weeks, and every detail was flawless! She found for us and coordinated a great florist, 2 amazing musical groups (a string duet and flamenco band), and even recommended a great photography. We got married at Wakefield and have been celebrating our wedding anniversary there for 10 years. It never disappoints and the food and staff are amazing. We LOVE the crab dip (not pictured because my husband jumped right in and started eating away) and the steaks are always delicious as well as dessert.
