In summary

Brevofield Golf Links is appreciated for its friendly staff, affordability, and suitability for beginners, with wide-open fairways and a generally well-maintained course. The course is family-owned and offers a relaxed, casual golfing experience with amenities like rental clubs and free coffee. However, some visitors report issues with slow pace of play due to the lack of set tee times, and there are mixed reviews regarding the condition of the bunkers and greens.

Very nice people and a very good experience. For 30 bucks and they allowed my wife and sweet pup to ride along you can't beat it. When I visit family in Raleigh again I will play there again. Were the conditions Augusta National in April? No, but they were good enough to enjoy a casual round of golf for not alot of money. A suggestion would be to mark all the bunkers as ground under repair. They looked atrocious to be honest...

Cost $100 for me and my son to play. Due to no set tee times, had to wait every shot. Took over 5 hours to play 16 holes and ended up not playing the last two holes. Bunkers are washed out and solid with lots of rocks even though they had a big mound of sand by the maintenance shop. Greens were decent but lots of bad, dead spots and unprepared areas. One green had a hole in the middle, like they moved the flag and did not put the plug in the old spot. I would not recommend this course unless you want to spend a lot of time and money.

Overall, Brevofield is a solid local golf course. I’ve always heard the fairways were wide open. That is definitely true for the first nine. It would be a great beginners course for someone who is learning to play. It’s nothing fancy, but just a good local country golf course.

My son is 11 and has stayed golfing with me. This course is amazing. It’s open and fun but slightly challenging. He’s been golfing for 2 years now, and this course is a nice step up from Paschal for him. It’s wide open, the hazards are perfect and the course is hilly which makes it challenging for both him and I. My new favorite course in the Raleigh area to golf with my son. Bonus, the gentlemen working there are always wonderful and very supportive of such young golfers.

The course is a great value for the price; I enjoy playing here when I can. They do not have tee times so if you show up at peak times expect to wait in a line. The course is family owned and they keep it in pretty good shape. The back 9 is a lot tighter than the front and a bit more challenging. The sand traps and not in good shape and there is only one hole with a water hazard. The greens are in good shape, all pretty flat but in good condition except for two of the holes.

Get here early in order to play. It's a first-come first-serve course. You may have to wait a while to tee off, but once you start it's pretty smooth. There are NO TEE TIMES We had an extra single player join our group of two. This happens a lot here if you are only playing with 2 people. Wide open course with not a lot of trees. Well taken care of most of the time, but the greens are a little squishy. Not a lot of water features, so I didn't loose as many balls ⛳ Carts are nice. Free coffee in the clubhouse. $10 rental clubs. Ball washing station along the course. All in all, it's a good…

Played this past Wednesday with a 3 some. At 9 am the line to tee off was super long no ranger. Fairways are in good shape. Tee boxes are not. Greens are very hit and miss some great so we’re very bad.

Not a bad course, it won't wow you but the greens are usually in great shape. Carts are old but still get it done. Not much trouble course wise other than what you make for yourself. Good for beginners or if your trying work out some bad stuff you got goin on. Pay once and play all day.

Played there today, July 12, 2025. Course is in bad shape, tee boxes are not being attended to, greens have small desert areas all around them. Couple of the greens even had weeds and long grass close to if not o the putting surface. And they still charge 50$ to play. No course marshal to ensure pace of play is observed, instead of pairing up so there are no singles they just let everyone go no matter what the make up. Even saw a couple of fivesomes out there. I don't think they spend a lot of time in the upkeep. Needless to say for that price I can spend an extra 10 or 20 dollars and play a d…

Course is decent shape but since there are no tee times the pace can be bad and there could be a long wait to tee off on number 1. Great course for beginner golfers, a lot of the holes on the front 9 are wide open. Greens are really slow but kept up nice. The staff is very friendly and overall this a very fun course to play with some challenging par 3's but some drivable par 4's

Nice track to play a round with the kids, kids are free. Pretty flat and receptive greens. Wide open fairways and not much sand, great for a beginner golfer!

Vacationing from California. Having played golf in 43 of the 50 states, I would highly recommend this beautiful course. I would come back and play it again if I lived closer. The staff was extremely friendly, the course well maintained and the price was fabulous.
