In summary

Heritage Links is frequently praised for its friendly and accommodating staff, well-maintained grounds, and enjoyable 9-hole layout that offers a quick and fun round of golf. Many appreciate the course's scenic setting and the value it provides, especially with the option to play additional rounds at a reduced rate. However, some visitors have noted issues with pace of play and maintenance, including slow greens and worn tee boxes, which can detract from the overall experience.

Played there a few times over the year. Friendly staff. Pace of play is always good. Even though it is only 9 holes you get to play all of your clubs. Would definitely recommend if you want to get a quick round in.

Perfect 9 hole course for the vacationers. You can do a second round for an extra $10 too. Tee times cannot be booked online. We called the day of and they were able to fit us in! I will say it's easy to miss the driveway/ entrance from Rt 9, so be sure to use your GPS or you'll fly right by it.

Course is cheap to play but you get what you pay for. The 9-hole course is fairly short and narrow, challenging if you are not a straight hitter. Well maintained. Problem is pace of play. Walkers and hackers all over the place and management makes no attempt control pace of play. I’ve sat at a tee box for 20 minutes waiting to hit. Suggestion: buy more carts and make everyone ride on weekends. Seems simple and clear enough.

Used to be a great place for a quick 9 holes, but has gone downhill. They do 5 minute tee times now from 6:30 to 8am, then 7 minutes. 1st hole is a 150-170 yard par 3. The entire course backs and you wait every hole, which is just dumb. Greens are still ok, but tee boxes were mostly dirt or weeds and no water anywhere in July. Shame how ownership ruined this place.

Great place to get a quick 9 in. Some challenging 3s. Few 4s. Easy to walk.

Majority of the holes were in good condition as mostly par3/4s but 2 holes were either not maintained or under construction. It also be nice if they had online booking to see what slots are open as you must call to book. Otherwise good course for 9 holes in 1.5 hrs.

Update Nov 2024: recently played 9 and for extra$10 played another round. A great value. Tom at the pro shop is very helpful and accommodated us. EZ to walk course. A great golf gem. Nice course with challenging holes. The facilities are good and a great value. Easy to reserve a tee time and winter rates very attractive. The staff and club members are very helpful and made for an enjoyable round. Close to many shore amenities. Look forward to next round.

I have been playing this course for over 10 years and have never seen it in such poor condition. Torn up tee boxes, burnt grass areas in the fairways, moldy and patchy greens. Obviously it doesn’t get watered too well. Would like to see it get back to what it was just a few years ago.

This is a great golf course. The guy Bill in the golf shop was awesome! He made us feel totally welcome with his kind and playful nature. We will definitely be returning next time that we are in the area and will tell our friends. Thank you Heritage Links!

Not the course it used to be. As locals, we’ve played here for years without incident. Been able to play a second round without a problem. Today, with less than 15 cars in the lot and no one ready to tee off on the 1st hole, we were denied a second round. I could understand if players were stacked up, but we would’ve been out before the twosome had their shoes on. We weren’t even walking. Definitely missing Tom and the old crew in the office.

It's a beautiful hidden gem. Everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly--especially Tom. I hosted a small golf outing and we had an amazing experience. The grounds are in great shape, the golf carts are perfect. Highly recommend!
