In summary

Hidden Creek Golf Club is praised for its challenging layout, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, offering good value for a public course. The greens are generally in excellent condition, and the course is well-maintained despite some bare spots on fairways and tee boxes. However, some visitors have noted issues with slow pace of play and occasional maintenance concerns, such as automated cart technology and course conditions during certain seasons.

Its a 5 star rating because of price and the great staff. The course has opportunities ( bare spots) however there is an effort underway with sod to improve . I give them props for that. The course is in very playable condition with tight landing areas and plenty of water. The grass on the course is good . The greens are in good shape. I tried cutting the corners and lost 5 balls to that strategy. Overall a very fun course that tests your skills I rate the course at 4.75 and look forward to the next time.

Great practice areas. Staff was very helpful and the food was good and at a reasonable price. Course layout is great. Just a few bare spots, but don't let that stop you. The greens were amazingly outstanding. Fast and very consistent, just remarkable. No complaints there at all. Only 2 things that need attention are the pace of play and the golf carts. Geo technology was not good at all. But overall, I still recommend this course

Played August 8th, 2025. Paid $35 for a course shape that was easily worth $75. Best quality golf of the year for me and I play every week. 5 stars for quality. Pace of play was a bit slow, but what an absolute jewel of a find for me. You can see the course from I-35 West just south of Gort Worth. If you are in the area this is a must play. Love it! PS: it's challenging. I played from blues and different e between men's blues and whites Is appreciable. Highly recommend this place.

Fairways are bare and hard as anything I’ve played on. The layout of the course is great. Fun track. Plenty of shots you have to move it around but even good shots are penalized by getting bad bounces from bare fairways. Greens run true and are great, but good luck getting there in regulation.

Good rate of play. Some holes side by side, can be a little risky with wild hits. Last several holes laid out end to end. Tends to back up. When the lake is dry, you can pick up some extra balls. Carts are now automated to keep you on the path. It can get confused which hole you are on if you go too far off. Interesting layout between short and long, water hazards and sand traps. Overall not a bad play.

A freak accident. First want to say thank God ❤️ we are safe!!!?.. The crash of Glass could have took our lives out!! and why in the world would someone will build a golf course off of highway??🤨🧐 It's my question? On December 30th my husband and I traveling North On 35 We were hit from the other side not the highway HIT!! by a golf ball!!😮 Hit the windshield and damaged the hood of our automobile One thing I want to say, the owner returned our call the very next day returning back home 🏠 filing a claim with the city of course, no one on the golf course owned up to almost TAKING SOMEONE LIFE.

Family member accused of damaging cart. Returned to follow up after receiving text. Found it NOT to be their cart. Staff was not apologetic for the error on their part. Mgr did not return phone message and did not return email addressing the staff treatment either. Very disappointed!

I played on 7/28. The work that this group has done to make this course in the great shape it is, is commendable. The greens are the best I have played this summer. The layout is also a challenge. They are not overpriced in what they charge and you always get a challenge. Do yourself a favor and give it a try.

Overall this course is a fun course that is narrow and can have some challenge for a public course. The staff is super friendly and prices are really fair for what you are getting. Fairways have some spots where the grass is hard to upkeep and you can tell in the Texas summers but overall you can tell they keep the course in good conditions. About 3 of the tee boxes need some work but I think that is what’s coming next after all the work they have done on the fairways in the past couple of years. This is a course I love to call my home course and I try to take as many people out to it as possi…

Not a bad Golf Course at all. Golf to during the week and the pace players just fine. A lot of rough spots in the fairways but they’re doing a lot of sodding Greens were generally in pretty good shape.

I don't understand having to close your driving range to collect balls. You can't afford a ball picker? As for the course, there's too much untamed vegetation for my liking. Also, I have never been here when my group wasn't at least 30 minutes behind pace due to waiting on groups ahead of us. It is certainly overpriced as well. There are much better options in the area for a similar price. All that said, it's definitely not the worst course, and it's convenient, so there's that.

This was a tighter golf course than expected and will provide a good challenge to most players. I thought the course was overall in very good shape. Like most municipal courses, there are some bare spots in the fairways, and some of the greens had the Poana grass growing on them. Overall, this one deserves a five-star rating, and I would play here again any time. Price was $60 for a Saturday morning tee time.
