⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pecan Valley is one of the best values you’ll find in Fort Worth. I paid $35 with the military discount, which is hard to beat for 18 holes anywhere these days—especially with two full courses available out there. The entire staff was extremely friendly from check-in to grabbing a drink after the round. The pro shop and bar prices were very reasonable, which just adds to the overall experience. The greens were in fantastic shape and rolling true all day—honestly some of the better public greens I’ve played in the area. The bridge between 15 and 18 is currently under construction,…

2 courses- hills & river. River is much nicer because it has been updated. Both tracks are fun & challenging. Public courses, so you don’t have to pay and arm & a leg to play. The bunkers on both courses have issues. But fairways & greens are good. Give them a shot!

Played the River Course today. River is legit. Fair but sneaky hard. Greens in great shape. Fun layout. New golf carts too.

Wasn't a bad course, I've lived here all my life, and I play there often and the crew usually is pretty good. But when you're about to finish your game, they're trying to get you out of there almost 45 minutes earlier saying, well, the boss said. So I thought you were bossed by the city of fort worth??.... I'm very disappointed. The price is good for what you play and it's near my home. But the attitude of these old fellers that think they're running something has something to be desired. I often play there with my brother, my sons and my friends. But don't be mistaken, I definitely will voice…

Played Pecan River today very disappointed in the course. Greens are very slow so was pace of play. The fairways were in poor condition had left clippings all throughout the fairways at times you had to look for the ball. Sand traps were not managed grass growing in most of them. Branches down throughout from past storms seemed to be there for a period of time. No one working on the course. I know why the price was as reasonable as it was to play. I thought with all of the rain to give it a chance regardless what the reviews were that were posted. Should have known better. Save your money.

EDIT: I played again here and the pins were fine, so I am changing from 2 to 4 star. The 4 star is a “for your money” rating. At 11 dollars for 9 holes during the week on the Hills course, this is the best bang for your buck in FTW. This is a great course to learn the game. Just don’t hit it in the bunkers. End edit. Last time I played here the pin placements were ridiculous. I can see maybe two holes a side being on slopes but when eighty percent of the holes are sidehill that’s when I don’t come back. Posting this review in hopes that they will change their practice. Hills course. Not sure…

River course is currently in terrible condition. this goes beyond the bridge being out and it being wet from rain. bunkers are in disrepair, many with corrugated pipes sticking out and unplayable. the bridge still hasn't seen a cocktail napkin design to fix in 2 years. why we cant tee off on 15, play to clear river, then drive around to other side vs playing 15 only on opposite side as a garbage pitch and putt will forever be a mystery. it adds maybe 5 minutes! the real problem is for all of this I paid full retail rack rates for holiday. that is inexcusable. fix the bunkers and a short hole t…

Great course! Lots of trees but open fairways. Beautiful to spend a day out on the course. Well kept grass and greens! We played a First Tee tournament here. Would definitely come back to play another round. There was a small grill by the pro shop. Lots of golf carts. Due to the rain the driving range was closed.

Was a good course until they asked people to bring carts back at 7 o’clock. And they will come drive by and get you. If you a party of 2 or more after 3pm expect to not play a full round! My brother and i started at 3:10 on a good pace. Got to 16 where they came to escort us off around 7:05. If yall want to leave early and not work, set your time to 7pm, not 8pm! DONT COME AFTER 3PM!

We played the River side at Pecan Valley. 1024 tee time and the 1st tee box was stacked. Ended up teeing off close to 1040. Very, very slow round. The course is settling into fall/winter conditions. Greens were lighting fast with hard pin locations.(perfect condition IMO) Putting killed me all day. 48 dollars is out of budget for me but I understand it's a Saturday morning tee time. This was a last minute invitation so I wanted to come out with my buddies. Overall, good experience with perfect weather. This location has two 18 hole courses. The Hills normally is cheaper and less crowded. Defin…

Hills Course: I had low expectations, but the course conditions disappointed me. The tee boxes are littered with so many broken tees, looks terrible. The tee boxes are also chewed up from iron tee shots. At this point, mats maybe the solution. Greens were generally OK, but some really bad spots and the hole on #1 looks rather old. Bunkers were unplayable. Fairways had many areas where the sod and dirt appears to have been eroded away. Not feeling the value at this time.
